I feel like listening to BODR while consolidating my exploits from 20 years ago is bullet-shaving a wormhole. Too much nostalgia - can I make this a full-time job??

I've been up for ~2 days laughing and smiling at our ad hoc 20-year "reunion" of #ps2dev pillars on the scene's Discord. Much 🖤 to the PS2 Scene that defined and launched my career in games! Excited to reunite and check out the phenomenal group of today 👉🏽discord.gg/m2GX9Btp

No one told me 😳😂
A small weekend project. Pulled 10year old archive of forums.ps2dev.org and put them online. :) Please tag anyone that might have been a member.

1/6 WITNESSETH! A thread with history of how Sony had treated us "hackers" in the past. Sony attempted to drive me out of games for years for legally opening the PS2 and PSP. This "agreement" went down before the George Hotz lawsuit on PS3. I'll add the background in the thread

5/6 I was required to sign the OP agreement with Budcat. It wasn't enough. Budcat ported games and wasn't viable w/out a PS3 license. Sony's bottom line: I shouldn't touch their tech, period. Activision was purchasing Budcat but couldn't push them to back down, and I was fired

6/6 The ordeal makes me wonder what else happens behind the scenes when exploits are discovered and published. Was I wrong for hacking PSP while licensed on PS2? Not legally. I didn't leak keys nor enable piracy. Of course today I would disclose (in '03 data/privacy weren't)

I've found an old CD-R that has all of the sketchy and useful/less hacking I did 30 years ago on PlayStation 2. Should I release to GitHub?

Oh whoops I meant 20 years ago
Should beat the buzzer. @thejustinwalsh @UnrealPhx what are use cases for NFTs in Unreal?

It dawned on me to create a reminder while editing an automation in the Shortcuts app, using Siri. A serialized NSUserActivity is attached to the generated reminder. The editor launches when you tap the icon, but using the Library editor instead of the Automations interface.

For folks who've hit this thread without context, I'm using an existing feature described by Apple to "run a shortcut from a reminder." 'Run' is really 'Open,' which is almost as good. Follow the instructions at the link but open a Personal Automation reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comme…
