ALT Against a beige background, the title says “a child’s guide to Israeli occupation before October 2023” Then against a green background it says “items permitted into Gaza”. The illustrations include baby wipes (a baby is shown playing with one) dustpans, toilet paper, hair combs, mineral water and all canned goods (except fruit)

ALT The next image is in a very similar style except now it shows items banned from entering Gaza. The first letter of each caption is in big red capitals instead of green ones like before. The illustrations include a4 size paper, jam, pasta, fabric for clothing, donkeys, sewing machines, newspapers, musical instruments, ropes for fishing, biscuits and sweets, spices and toys.

ALT This is a chart showing the monthly number of settler attacks against Palestinians. It has been around 100 incidents per month every month from January and rises to over 200 incidents in October. It has bright yellow bars set against a pink background. The title says What is happening in the West Bank? Settlers are Israeli citizens who live on Palestinian land. They frequently use violence to take and then keep this land. There are three illustrations of men, one is holding an axe, one is throwing a stone and one is holding a gun.

ALT The illustrations of the men have been replaced with real photographs and you can see that the drawings were based on real incidents. The text says… The UN has found that in almost half the cases of settler attacks, Israeli security forces “accompanied or actively supported” the attackers.
