Point your LLM(s) at this blogpost & have it try to make inventory & mitigate as many servers ahead of the PHP patch as you can
Details are still emerging and this is *not* a definitive mitigation list, the patch is the ONLY 100% fix

Got tired of treadmill sessions not being tracked because I had to manually use a flaky Chinese app (KS Fit).
Let Claude build a menu bar app that auto connects my laptop to the treadmill when it becomes available. Can control the treadmill though the app as well.
Just had to enable bluetooth logging on the phone and Claude build it all in under an hour.
T3 API
Build and test API endpoints with AI & debug performance
@PatricioOnCode came with the idea I should extract my toolbar collection logic to an PHP extension. Then you won’t need a Laravel package and it would work for any PHP request.
Turned out to be a greate idea. Piggy backing on OpenTelemetry extension + simple PHP file and enabling them in php.ini was enough. Opens up a ton of possibilities like debugging API performance.
Adding support for other PHP frameworks like @symfony or @WordPress seems very feasible.
T3 GPT
Crazy how fast you can get to this with a tech stack like T3. Customizing is just pointing at what you want and LLM does brrr.
There is a big difference in performance between LLMs for things like this. Only with Opus it was doable. The rest didn't even come close.
Benefit of this fork flow is I can pull in fixes that still need to be merged upstream.
Like cmd + v not working in the integrated browser github.com/pingdotgg/t3code/…
Today's agents really make it effortless to validate and apply the fix. Set up the bot to check for this kind of stuff and will undo the hotfix when it lands upstream.
Felt the need for workspaces with T3Code. Didn't like the legacy feature. Forked T3, asked opus on a mac mini to build what I want. It syncs the build to my mac when tested. Grok Bot will sync it with upstream T3 every night and test.
So far so good, I wonder how feasible it would be to maintain a custom version like this. Will find out :)

Very easy in use, would recommend trying!
Sending out a next batch of beta invites to Snapkin this afternoon, get on the waiting list if you want in 👀

Created two PRs, the first focuses on Horizon in its current form. UI is completely updated. It's fully compatible with what Horizon supports today.
PR 1: github.com/laravel/horizon/p…
The second PR comes with breaking changes and is therefore a candidate for a v6, kept it as a draft. The primary change is the frontend. Fully converted to a modern stack with Inertia, shadcn and Vite+. Would be really cool to develop it further and get it as far as horizon.nckrtl.com/horizon
PR 2: github.com/laravel/horizon/p…
PR 1 can be merged today, PR 2 is the future.
While AI was doing work on Horizon this week, I also worked on a complete refresh of the @DutchLaravel Foundation website, which is now live! Really happy with how it turned out.

The new Horizon UI is also available as a live demo: horizon.nckrtl.com
Treat it nicely :)
The new Horizon UI is now available!
Its a very early version so bugs are expected, although I tried to iron out as many as i could. Feel free to create issues at the repo or let me know and I will take a look.
As mentioned before, the package is basically a sidecar. You need the original Laravel Horizon along side it, it just publishes new UI assets and uses the original Horizon under the hood.
You can install it via `composer require nckrtl/horizon-new-dawn` + publish assets. (only latest Horizon version supported for now, will loosen that requirement later on).
Let me know what you think! You can read more about the process how I build it on nckrtl.com/articles/building…
Repo: github.com/nckrtl/horizon-ne…
Worked another day on Horizon:
- Resume/pause queues indefinitely or for a period
- Pause an horizon instance or instance supervisor (local only)
- Dispatch terminate signal
- Added bunch of filtering options
- Cancel jobs
- See processing (reserved) jobs
- Cancel batch
- Consolidated Jobs page + dedicated instance page + supervisor detail page (maybe I went too far 😅)
- Started work on responsiveness, but I wonder who manages their queues on mobile
Missing anything @gonedark ? :)
Will iron out the biggest bugs/inconsistencies and do more proper testing. Aiming to release something tomorrow.
2 years ago i made a redesign of Laravel Horizon. This weekend with Fable and Sol and some /goal prompts its alive. Its an Inertia app with:
- Infinite scrolling instead of regular pagination
- Persistent urls
- Additional statistics on the dashboard
- Shadcn components
- Added counters in the menu
- Much more
Its just an UI shell so you'll have to install it besides Horizon.
Unfortunately it wont age well I think, as I know Laravel has been working on refreshes of at least Horizon and Telescope. Although they've been done for a while I believe, so should I release this?
