You slow or sumn?
My nail tech just lost a loyal customer over TWENTY MINUTES, and honestly, I expected better treatment! I’d booked a 10 a.m. appointment but stopped at a bakery and arrived at 10:22. She said she could still do a basic polish, but there wasn’t enough time for my nail extensions because another client was booked at 11:30. I told her I’d already made the trip and the next girl could wait a little. She replied, “She booked her appointment just like you booked yours.” EXCUSE ME?!

I understand how the burden of parenthood tends falls into women, but I'm somehow surprised that men don't take their bodies and ability to make offspring seriously. They're hoping that the women they're sleeping with are mature, cautious, and understanding. But they're not!
The person who said that, once men are in an industry, they change job titles, didn't lie.
We’re building out a new program at @NotionHQ:
We call it field storytellers.
Where Internet filmmakers & creators meet local businesses. All around the world. They travel there to apprentice a business for a day/two, and come back with stories, documented and published.
Field storytelling is a bet that stories are best told and relationships are best built when it’s done out on the field.
If you’re great with a camera, love traveling to meet local businesses, and Internet savvy with an audience, reach out 🖤

I hate the “marry a kind man” or “marry into the right family” talk because it absolves men and their families of accountability and burdens women.
People expect women to overcalculate risks and predict not just how a man will treat them in marriage, but how a husband’s family will treat them if he dies. Men and their families can be irresponsible, cruel, or wicked, yet we will blame the woman’s choice.
It is not a woman’s job to predict post-husband treatment. Men’s families should treat brothers’ wives and children as human beings.
Using one woman’s suffering to lecture other women about better choices is foolish.

If he really didn't want a kid, he would've acted like it. But he took the risk of assuming a woman would do that work for him. He offloaded responsibility onto someone else, assumed she would act better than him, and then realized she was just as reckless. He should've took
Wholeheartedly agree with this. Society just accepts showing up for every whim of married &/or parents but outside of that things are often presented as fanciful or an inconvenience. Its actually unacceptable.

🚨🚨 LAMINE YAMAL 🇪🇸 EST BIEN ARRIVÉ À LA CÉRÉMONIE DU #BALLONDOR !!!! 🌸
Premier sacre pour lui ce soir ?
Loool wait i wonder if original op was asking more like the sunday roast culture we have here in the UK - like ik a lot of families meet up on Sunday for dinner but like sunday roast is a specific thing in itself but either way this response is a bit much
& this is why I don’t fucking like you ppl. There is a whole ICONIC MOVIE, called SOUL FOOD, that is centered on the tradition of BLACK AMERICA, SUNDAY DINNER culture. & it started during slavery, on the only day (some) Black Americans were allowed to rest & WORSHIP, where we went to church as a family, & came home turned scraps into a feast for our families. To this very day, Sunday dinners are the backbone of Black American families.
