There is something profoundly ✨BLEAK✨ about the U.S. electorate’s recurring tendency to mistake political presentation for political conviction, and political branding for political substance. 🥀 Jon @Ossoff is a particularly illustrative example. His carefully crafted image of progressivism, the calculated appeal to political desirability, and the cultivated air of intellectualism and youthful idealism all seem designed to suggest a politician whose convictions run considerably deeper than his public image. 🎭 Yet when it comes to challenging the Democratic establishment, all that performative progressivism proves remarkably ✨HOLLOW✨.
