A Grok Bot looks like a chat. On disk, it is a long-running job with instructions, memory, routines, and access to a shared computer. I mapped what travels in a template and what stays behind. @xai @bot

Your @bot getting blocked by Amazon and other sites? Fix: set up a Tailscale or Headscale network at home, add your bot's computer to it, and send its shopping and logins out through your home internet. Sites see your house, not a data center. No more blocks. You don't need to know how. Just tell your bot "help me set this up" and it walks you through it.

Hey @bot can I get [email protected] for my bot please.

Told @bot to install OBS to record the Grokbot Galaxy stream live with efficient settings to save on storage since I have conflicting work meetings during some of the segments and life things to do. It went with 1280x720 @ 30 fps since it's desktop is 1280x800. The things you can just do today with these tools is amazing. Will pull this down each day and test editing out breaks and other things with my agentic first video editing software I'm building. File is at 317MB and growing.

Please tell me you thought of this ahead of time @johnternus @Apple and the magnetic function is already there and the pencil mini is in the works?

I know it's still probably in transition and a lot of the iPhone 18 stuff was likely already in flight before @johnternus took over. I'm hoping the mistakes from todays events are already on course correction. Continuing to wall iOS AI integration off to Apple "intelligence" is the wrong move and needs fixing. Apple isn't good at Models/LLMs but are great at hardware, stick to hardware and stop trying to compete where you can't/shouldn't. Let us tie in whatever subscription/service we want and let Siri retire already. She's awful and you can't fix her.

So what are people using to start a project? Going from your idea to something that you can implement with /poteto-mode? Are we still on speckit? The Pocock skills? I love and use pstack on existing projects but what about starting a new one @poteto what do you do?

The underrated Grok Bot fact isn't the folders. It's one persistent computer for the whole crew. Sign into Chrome once and another bot can use that session. gh authentication and Tailscale state persist too. Files in /home survive Update. Installed packages don't. My setup keeps a locked Tailscale pre-auth key and start script in /home, plus a 10-line bootstrap that restores three CLIs. Never put the key in /workspace or a template. Every bot can see the disk. Shared persistence is not isolation.

Okay. Switching the laptop from Nix to Omarchy. @dhh has pulled me. My system, my way, agent enhanced.

Meet Santiago, a Senior Engineer working on WhatsApp at Meta. I see everywhere dev tools selling number of PRs merged, lines of code, tokens used, but when do we measure confidence in the coding agent’s results? The harder metrics are code quality, regression tracking, evaluation time reduced, direct customer impact, and the engineers' stress levels in their day to day job. I’ve been measuring these because I’m the engineer that’s using these coding agents for production for billions of users every day. We don’t need another coding agent. We don’t need another harness. We don’t need more scripts. We don’t need more skills. We need something that just works for you, customized for your workflows, with any tools, any skills, any stack, any model. This is why I built Atomic as a verifiable coding agent runtime and it’s also why I open sourced it. Senior engineers and researchers who need to do real work not just push vanity metrics are using this every day and have been for months. If you want to know how to stop babysitting your agents without selling out your own intelligence, follow me here as I share their stories using Atomic and what’s changed for them. I care deeply about production code quality and am on a mission to build a genuine community that believes in this too.

Loving GrokBot for agentic tasks/employees. Been messing around with it since launch and using it start an all agentic business idea I've had for a while now but didn't have time to setup custom Hermes/etc for it. Feature Request: @xai @cursor_ai @bot @elonmusk Can we get TTS/Voice integration for GrokBot? Maybe a way to tie our our xAI voice agents?

Introducing Grok 4.6. It delivers frontier intelligence and is a significant improvement over Grok 4.5 at the same price.

Oh yeah Super Grok + Cursor now!! Might be able to finally consolidate down on harness fatigue. The @xai and @cursor_ai are cooking over there. Setting up Grok Bot now to see how that fits.

If you've been seeing all the information lately about looping/graphing/augmenting, etc and still can't find good information or tooling on how to actually get started check out @alexlavaee project Atomic and go watch his live stream with @RayFernando1337 Just start using it, don't import your skills or anything yet and get a feel for what it automatically does. See how it works, then start to dig into workflows and how you can customize them to your needs.
