Yeah @x is horrible on the iPhone Duo and REALLY need to be optimized. It took about 2 minutes for it to display the text after it scrolled to the second line.
Also can't scroll to the end of a gallery etc. Utter shambles. So so incredibly poor
Made the mistake of requesting a recommended update during the iPhone Duo setup.
I recommend skipping it but it does only take a few mins!
Happy iPhone Duo day! Mine is not arriving today (thanks to the incompetent folks at @ee) but I saw it yday and damn, I really like this form factor and hardware!
Also the Nano texture display is really nice, a different take on the crease but a good one! More thoughts soon!
Something fun to note: I don't give out 5/5 to any product, but the X10 Pro Max is one of the highest scores I've ever given!
Hello from Mallorca for the @oppo #FindX10ProMax launch!
My full review will be out on Friday in both video and written form (latter on @androidcentral) but here's what I'll say so far... This is the most complete phone I've ever used.
Absolutely spectacular phone!
I turned on a new Windows laptop 2 hours ago.
It is still installing updates and the one main task it asked me to do - sign into my Microsoft account - failed to verify my pass key as "the service wasn't available".
@TheRichWoods... Remind me why Windows is the best?
The iPhone Duo launch proved one key thing: despite a cost-of-living crisis exacerbated by an AI push that has sent RAM prices skyrocketing, customers will still pay for the best tech.
The RAM crisis has gutted the smartphone volume business model. I think this means we'll see fewer affordable devices and a greater focus on higher-priced flagships.
