I keep thinking about that while reading YouTube’s description of my work: “unsatisfying or off-putting content.” Behind those numbers are people choosing to spend time with stories I’ve made. Some leave comments about the characters. Some ask when the next film is coming. Seeing that response is what made me believe Nova AI Films could become something I could build my future around. I’m twenty, I’m a student, and I make these films alone. I write the screenplays and dialogue, develop the scenes, and handle production, editing, sound and colour grading myself. A finished film can take me almost a week. My channel has been demonetized since August 5. I appealed, contacted support and shared how I make my work. The decision was upheld, but I still haven’t received a specific example explaining what in my films led to it. I know viewing figures don’t settle a policy question. But when people are spending this much time watching these stories, surely the films deserve an explanation that actually relates to them.
