I think Lula and Melenchon’s aggressive campaigning, with proactive support for mass rallies and mobilization, shows what a strong AOC campaign should look like. That’s not to say any of the three have ideal politics or that I expect her to do so, but it is a useful model.

There's no room left for "progressives except for palestine" in the socialist movement. DSA must act as a material counterweight to the zionist lobby, and it requires us to hold firm against the drone of lesser-evil politics. AIPAC doesn't engage in it, nor should we.
NEW: DSA's National Political Committee passed two resolutions tonight regarding Los Angeles mayoral candidate Nithya Raman, setting up processes to potentially force DSA's Los Angeles chapter to rescind its endorsement of her campaign and/or expel her from DSA.
Here are copies of the 2 resolutions that passed:

frankly and in no uncertain terms the turnout operation is not of the party but of the candidates namely Jamie Davis and Lauren Jewett operations in the SELA area.
Louisiana could end up with a D+4 EV electorate due to Black turnout outperforming their *population share* of 30% and hitting generational levels
@LaDemos GOTV operation should be the story of the nation this EV cycle!!

I have just published a piece that is very important to me. It's about why so many "progressives" and people on "the left" are lying to us right now about crime, safety, and repression, and what we should be doing instead. equalityalec.substack.com/p/…

SpaceX and Louisiana officials used NDAs and codenames to keep details of its massive Starbase project secret.
A new lawsuit claims that many of those actions in Vermilion Parish were illegal.

I don’t understand why anyone pretends otherwise

For historic context, the total of 2026 @nycDSA delegate voters is slightly larger than @DemSocialists total membership in 2015 at the time of national convention delegate apportionment.
God is there literally anything pertaining to milquetoast electoralism that isn’t “EXISTENTIAL” to the Geese set. Not even a take on Raman (but she did fuck up bad btw) but Jesus Christ give it a fucking rest yall. Drink a fucking beer. Smoke a goddamn cigarette. Christ
DSA’s vote to expel Nithya Raman or punish the LA chapter is an existential threat to the Left of Los Angeles. By analyzing the balance of forces and allegations against Raman, Matthew J. Hunter (@MattHunterMCR) and P.K. Gandakin (@pkgandakin) argue against this dangerous move to undermine the working class movement in LA. This internal repression must be rejected if we want mass revolutionary politics.

Lula was only 33 when he led the strike alongside the metalworkers’ union that challenged Brazil’s military dictatorship. He secured wage increases and was imprisoned.
His rival, the far-right Flávio Bolsonaro, on the other hand, has had only one occupation since the age of 21: spending his wealthy family’s money and engaging in far-right thuggery.
