Four men, accused of sexually assaulting a woman who’d been drugged by her former husband, have appeared in court to stand trial.
Philip Young, a 50-year-old former Conservative councillor, has already pleaded guilty to drugging and assaulting his ex-wife Joanne, over a thirteen year period.
The four charged, Connor Sanderson-Doyle, Richard Wilkins, Norman Macksoni, and Mohammed Hassan, all deny committing sexual offences against Mrs Young.

Honestly, if only we had @comrade_kumar_ doing the media rounds during the 'Antisemitism crisis in the Labour Party' moral panic in the late 2010s. We would have still been beaten - but there would have been a hell of a fight put up. And I could be proud rather than embarrassed.
