I'm honored to have my latest opinion piece published in @JDNebusiness, one of France's leading business and technology publications 🇫🇷 We spend so much time debating what AI might do to jobs in 10 years that we're overlooking what's already happening today. The gap between companies embracing AI and those falling behind is growing. I wrote about why training, clear direction, and human judgment matter more than ever.

Very true. I first understood this watching "Kirikou and the Sorceress", a French animated film, when I was 10 years old. Karaba was cruel because a poisoned thorn lodged in her back was causing her constant pain. When Kirikou finally removed it, she was freed from her suffering and became kind again. People making mean comment for no apparent reason often carry their own pain: insecurities, regrets, goals they never achieved, or dreams they never pursued. Someone genuinely content with their life has no reason to be cruel to others. That's why I don't believe in responding to meanness with more meanness. These people are probably already hard enough on themselves. Give them some grace, assume they're going through something, and move on. You can understand why someone behaves the way they do and still choose not to be around that kind of energy. Better for your own peace of mind.
The world is full of people suffering from the effects of their own unlived life. They become bitter, critical, or rigid, not because the world is cruel to them, but because they have betrayed their own inner possibilities. The artist who never makes art becomes cynical about those who do — Carl Jung

Love this loader animation
This is a loader animation I made for an internal tool of which I am the sole user. It took millions of tokens and multiple minutes of iteration (it was two prompts).

The only important thing about a concept: does it excite you enough to make something exceptional?

A lot of people underestimate just how powerful @Cloudflare is. Or simply don't know what it can do beyond CDN, DNS, and security. It's become one of my favorite platforms to build with, both at work and on my personal projects. One of the biggest reasons I love it is that Cloudflare feels like it was built for the age of AI agents. It gives you pretty much everything you need to build and deploy applications: Workers for compute, D1 for databases, R2 for storage, Queues, Workflows, and much more. All within the same ecosystem, with very little infrastructure to manage. This makes it incredibly easy to build with AI agents. At @railblocks, we're taking this a step further by using Cloudflare as the foundation for the AI-powered operating systems we build for investment firms. We just published an article explaining exactly why we've chosen Cloudflare, the building blocks we use, and how they all fit together. It's definitely worth a read if you're building with AI agents, or simply curious about what Cloudflare can do beyond its traditional use cases!
To work effectively across an entire company, agents need an Operating System. @Cloudflare has the best infrastructure to build it - here's why:

Elon Musk found us here. We’re indigenous to this land.
If people dislike Elon Musk so much, why do they still use the platform he owns?

2026-31: AI agents master research/coding; peptide/gene therapies mainstream for aging/disease. Fusion prototypes scale commercially. Crewed Mars landings succeed. 2031-36: AGI arrives, economies shift to abundance models. Clean energy dominates. Permanent lunar bases online. 2036-41: Neural interfaces widespread. Asteroid mining starts. Healthy lifespans near 100. 2041-46: Multiplanetary expansion. Human-AI hybrids common. Tech-driven climate stabilization advances.

Thankful to @ChatGPT for helping me identify the best food in every airport. So much fast food and/or badly rated food everywhere it's so hard to navigate. Currently in Seattle enjoying Salty at the Sea's famous seafood chowder. So yummy 😋

19 years ago, when my 1st company got bought, I had to decide between buying a house in Palo Alto or a McLaren F1 (best car ever imo). Was no contest. I bought F1 & a small condo that was much cheaper than the car. New Tesla Roadster will exceed all gas sports cars in every way…

Reading this the day after the @Tesla Roadster demo makes me sigh so hard

Going thru all responses. Such wild variance!! General trends: - PRs per eng is up - Spend is anywwhere from $100/dev/month to ~$5,000. A few outliers in Big Tech at $20K+ - Very very very few teams ask about the ROI on the spend!! Or know how to measure. More want to tho
What is the PR output of your eng team, “before” and “after” adopting AI tools? And how much is your AI spend, per engineer, per month? Been collecting details+anonymising them: share details with me and I’ll share what other companies are seeing. It’s a very, very hot topic DM me

One of my favorite features on @X: the DMs I receive when a Community Note is added to a post I liked. In this case, I already knew the tweet was a made-up story, but I liked it anyway because I enjoyed it. But I do appreciate the heads-up! It makes me trust the platform more.
