The only important thing about a concept:
does it excite you enough to make something exceptional?

19 years ago, when my 1st company got bought, I had to decide between buying a house in Palo Alto or a McLaren F1 (best car ever imo). Was no contest. I bought F1 & a small condo that was much cheaper than the car. New Tesla Roadster will exceed all gas sports cars in every way…

Going thru all responses. Such wild variance!!
General trends:
- PRs per eng is up
- Spend is anywwhere from $100/dev/month to ~$5,000. A few outliers in Big Tech at $20K+
- Very very very few teams ask about the ROI on the spend!! Or know how to measure. More want to tho

What I mean is, the models are just becoming smarter and, unless we push them to dumb it down for us, we will stop understanding their reasoning, results, anything, no matter how hard we try.

In this post, I guess this's the last time I'll say it. AI use is no longer optional if you wish to be employed. What follows is advice for current employees and hiring managers on how to hire in 2026 to source AI-first candidates.
I have discovered $50 amazon photo frames to be the PERFECT home display screen
They can be rooted, updated to run a modern browser, have WiFi and can be powered from USB
1280×800 resolution with a nice touch screen
I detailed how to hack these yourself in my latest video

Qatar 🇶🇦 has one of the most unusual population structures in the world.
According to the UN, 76.7% of people living in Qatar were international migrants in 2024.
That’s around 2.34 million people out of a total population of roughly 3.05 million.

Argentina 🇦🇷 is preparing to launch South America’s first citizenship-by-investment program in Q4 2026.
Most golden visa programs give investors residency first. Argentina’s program goes further: qualifying applicants can obtain Argentine citizenship without having lived in the country beforehand.
There are two options:
- $350,000 USD non-refundable contribution to Argentina’s Treasury
- $800,000 USD investment in a zero-interest government bond held for 7 years
Family members can apply too:
- spouse or unmarried child aged 18 to 25: $100,000 USD
- child under 18: $25,000 USD
A couple with two children under 18 would therefore pay $500,000 USD through the contribution route.
@BloombergLinea_ reports that advisers involved in the program are already seeing interest from wealthy people in the US, China, France and Germany, and that many may not actually plan to live in Argentina.
