Is death something you think about often, both in your art and in your life? @ALIENQUEENART — Yes, death is something I think about often, both personally and in my work. Growing up in a family that survived the Cambodian genocide, death and survival have always been part of my understanding of life. But I don’t see death as purely dark or morbid. It’s a reminder that life is temporary and that we’re all sharing the same human experience. That’s why I often combine imagery of death, skulls, and impermanence with bright, psychedelic colors and playful characters. There’s beauty, humor, chaos, and life alongside death, and I think my work reflects that tension. Midnight Ramen.exe, 2026.
