Hope we get everyone to vote in Texas. I am 76 yr old Gram; and, in 25 yrs I've lived here, have not received a vote I asked for from my Senators or Reps. My letters have been on, gun control, environment, animal welfare, rights for all races, LGBTs, all religions, etc.

Over 500 children are still waiting to be reunited with their parents, five weeks after the administration's deadline to reunify families. Every day they are made to wait is a tragedy.

The Puerto Rican government just updated the official death count for Hurricane Maria from 64 to 2,975 people. @realDonaldTrump and his Administration utterly failed in their response, and US citizens died. That's the appalling, tragic reality.
Last year, President Trump implied that Hurricane Maria was not "a real catastrophe, like Katrina." Today, new estimates reveal that over a thousand more people died in Puerto Rico than in Katrina. cbsn.ws/2PMATjd

The median Amazon employee makes $13.67 an hour.
Many of those employees rely on food stamps, Medicaid and public housing to survive.
You know who pays for that? You do.
You know what Jeff Bezos makes every hour? $10,833,33
It's time for Amazon to get off corporate welfare.

What we are seeing happen across the country - in Florida, Georgia, Michigan - is that people are rejecting the GOP’s division and fear.
The United States has always been a multilingual, diverse nation that fights for a more perfect union, towards freedom and justice for all.

When we think of tipped workers, we usually think of some restaurant workers.
But tipped workers are far more than that: they are nail salons, car wash techs, and more.
Half of NY’s 400,000+ tipped workers are immigrants – mostly women and people of color who work at restaurants, nail salons and car washes.
A new report from @OneFairWageNY shows they're hurting: rocunited.org/wp-content/upl…

It’s time for #OneFairWage, which is part of a larger fight for a #LivingWage for all.
