Turns out @Dell gives the middle finger to Linux customers sometimes, but with the help of Grok I figured out how to switch the USB KVM input source from a simple terminal command so I can use my beautiful 52" display as intended. ddcutil setvcp 60 0x<value> Here are the values for the U5226KW: - ddcutil setvcp 60 0x19: switch to Thunderbolt - ddcutil setvcp 60 0x0f: switch to DisplayPort 1 - ddcutil setvcp 60 0x13: switch to DisplayPort 2 - ddcutil setvcp 60 0x11: switch to HDMI 1 - ddcutil setvcp 60 0x12: switch to HDMI 2 I set up the KVM on the mac using their software but was stuck in linux trying to switch back, turns out you don't even need it, and it is easier to do it without their software. other useful commands: - ddcutil detect - ddcutil capabilities

Hello @SpencerGBull do you know who we can poke at Dell to make their display and peripheral manager for Linux? Can't use my beautiful 52" thunderbolt as intended

the entirety of this update is anti-customer and it is extremely transparent, not a single improvement... yikes

Strata v1.1 is out! This release is all about performance. The file system layer was rebuilt from the ground up, and the rest of the UI got leaner with it. Deeper theming and customization, and an Integrations system for hooking Strata into the apps you already use. You can have your agent easily create integrations for you by pointing it to our docs.

the language is amazing for UI because it is so compact its like the dashboard dream of designers where every name and column header is 4 letters long

Omarchy で使うファイルマネージャ Strata。 今まで使ってたファイルマネージャは日本語検索が出来なかったけど Strata はいける。 サクサクとファイル表示してくれるし、画面も見やすく使いやすい! github.com/lgse/strata

Strata's file operations just got a major efficiency upgrade. Moves, copies and renames are now faster and smarter across network shares, USB sticks, NTFS drives and more, with Strata adapting to each filesystem to do the least work possible. Much faster on slow drives. In our tests, copying 2,000 small files to a FAT USB stick took 26s instead of 208s, and an sshfs share took 2–12s instead of ~100s. Far less wear on USB drives. A 300-file move to an exFAT or NTFS stick went from ~300 device flushes to just 2. Parallel moves. Moving lots of files to another disk now runs up to 8 at a time. Tested across 14 filesystems: ext4, btrfs, XFS, NFS, SMB, sshfs, FAT, exFAT, NTFS and more. Over 400 commits with more to come in the next releases to keep improving. Get Strata to try it out on Omarchy now: github.com/lgse/strata

There are lots of videos of the mcmurty in action you can just search online, and I'm referring only to the down-force applied by suction, never said it climbed walls of did kick-flips, hahaha

tiene un abanico que genera 2G de fuerza hacia el piso, como el mcmurty que puede hacer lo mismo
