They took memory cards from us and made us pay for storage. They took CDs and DVDs and made us pay for streaming. They took software you could buy once and turned it into a monthly subscription. They took ownership, convenience, and basically everything that used to be a one-time purchaseโ€ฆ then somehow made us pay for it every month.

The creator of the C++ programming language, Bjarne Stroustrup, says AI-generated code is not successful and calls the idea of using natural language as a programming language idiotic. He says humans will still write code and use abstraction. According to him, AI generates bloated code with more bugs and security holes, making it hard to validate. He also says the senior developers needed to validate it are starting to retire because they donโ€™t want to deal with validating something that changes every time you change your prompt. He goes on to say that AI is not good at writing safety-critical or performance-critical code: โ€œNow, letโ€™s say that 70 or 80% of the worldโ€™s code doesnโ€™t fit that pattern, but itโ€™s that 10, 20% of the code that Iโ€™m interested in.โ€

We're entering a time when the government won't have to censor you for your opinions because banks will just freeze your money and cut your access to society off instead. Not sure people are grasping how serious this debanking bullshit is.

Let me get this straight... OpenAl was founded as a nonprofit. Open source. For everyone. "To benefit humanity." Then he raised billions of dollars. Then he closed the source code. Then he converted to for-profit. Then he scraped the entire internet without asking anyone. Then he used YOUR writing YOUR art YOUR code to train his models. Now he's on stage saying you'll pay HIM to access intelligence. Just like a water meter. He stole all of your data. He built the product with your work. And now he's going to bill you to use it... Corporate greed has reached an all time high, and they're not even hiding it anymore...
Open AI CEO, Sam Altman: โ€œWe see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter.โ€

Violent boomers and their walking sticks. Young people and all people of sound mind need to reject this sick party.
Another young female protester receiving brutal treatment for heckling at the Reform conference. Look at the guy take a swipe at her with his crutch. Nigel Farage actually encouraged this from the stage, heโ€™s completely unfit for public office.

Iโ€™m so fed up of reading mock shock pieces in the right-wing media about how much the NHS costs to run. Iโ€™ve never seen a single piece examining what proportion of NHS funding is siphoned off into private companies seeking to make a profit. If theyโ€™re so concernedโ€ฆ

BREAKING: Iran announced this morning that Iran's military doctrine has now officially shifted toward preemptive strikes, saying "we do not allow the Americans to have the initiative. We will now carry out preemptive operations," per Iran's military spokesman. Iran adds that recent operations against US positions were meant both to deter future attacks and deny the US the initiative, and that this policy will continue wherever Iran believes it faces an imminent threat. And just a few hours later, Iran carried out a preemptive ballistic missile strike on the US Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. Iran says it successfully achieved the objective, as Trump refuses to respond to the attacks. The US denies that it took place and has not responded to today's attack, nor to the surprise attack on Kuwait 2 days ago, nor to the attacks on 7 different US bases in 5 different countries 3 days ago.
