The Queen proved that Bond and Paddington exist in the same cinematic universe, and therefore set up the greatest potential crossover film of all time.

I only really want a house like this so I could play that augmented reality Mario Kart game properly.

I spent an hour queuing in Tesco, so I've set up some scheduled emails for December next year to remind myself to buy all the Christmas stuff earlier. Leverage tech to your advantage.

There's no explanation in the Harrera "Bad Boy" advert of how bad they are. My theory is that they wee on the toilet seat and don't clean it up. youtu.be/Xu6SFzGRb5o?si=zRuK…

I'm going to tell the grad developers at work that this is a Speccy port of Skyrim. :)
Feud is one of my favourite budget #zxspectrum games. Released in '87 by Bulldog, it was a fun wizardry based arcade adventure. Gather herbs and ingredients to create your spells. Can you put an end to this magical feud? For Β£1.99 it was great value. Any fans? #retrogames

When short people ask me to reach for things they can't, I genuinely feel pretty damn good about it.
NO MAN can resist the siren song of, "hey! You look strong!" He will DIE before he fails to help you load [mysterious heavy Christmas item] into the trunk of your car

If you're a billionaire and you ~aren't~ doing stupid stuff like this with 0.01% of the resources available to you, then why even have all that money?
Mark Zuckerberg is reportedly building a massive $100 million compound in Hawaii with an underground bunker, escape hatch, and a β€œblast-resistant door.” The 5,000-square-foot underground bunker will be self-sufficient with its own energy, food, and water supply, @WIRED reports.

When people say modern frontend is over engineered this is what I think of.
A 3,300-year-old chariot bridge is still in use today. The Arkadiko Bridge was built between 1,300 and 1,190 BCE, making it one of the oldest still-used arch bridges still in existence even though it’s not suggested to drive on. It was built on a road that linked Tiryns to Epidaurus, and was part of a larger military road system.

CSS is powerful for sure, and you can build some really cool things with just CSS.. but.. if you change your underlying HTML this will break. That's fine if you're OK managing that, but it's still a pain that's easily avoided with a few class names.
Modern CSS has gotten really good. We're building all the ONCE apps using vanilla CSS without any form of precompilation or bundling. Multiple, individual files are great for partial cache expiration, and the :has selector is power. Love it.

Kind of weird that some of the coolest gen art stuff happens in a branch of H&M. :)
Infinite Dreams is real-time generative art and one of Europe’s largest LED screen installations, based at the flagship @hm store in Regent Street, London, created in collaboration with @hirschandmann. Read more on how we brought this 10x10m canvas to life. 1/n
