An introvert not initiating a talk with you, sitting in the corner at the party, is probably enjoying themselves more than you do. You’re uncomfortable bc you don’t know what goes on inside of them, that’s why you’re projecting your discomfort on them wanting them to leave. Yuck.

Well everyone is enjoying the party and only one is uncomfortable. Guess who?
That one uncomfortable person is making everyone else uncomfortable.
Oh nooo, how could he possibly marry the women who gave birth to HIS FIVE KIDS? So Scandalous

I can’t believe either cause why would you post a statement over ONE random person talking shit on x lol
I cant believe i have to come here & say this but here’s a picture of me on my 11th birthday wearing waist beads & the IG’s of 3 black European women a generation above me & Manon who have been in the game & boards way before us rocking straight brows (that yall would never credit because they are DARK SKINNED) Yall would never say girls in Atlanta, Detroit, compton, harlem & the bronx are “copying eachother”. Im just following trends & a culture that is mine.
I never used to do my make up & when I started i went for brows that are straight like most afro European girlies on the gram. Get a life & then go give those dark skin PIONEER women some credit❤️ you don’t know any of us!

You see bi men as “dirty and someone being bent over by another man, “inferior” but do you stop to think that could also be said about you too, after all you’re going to be “bent over and dirty” for collecting dick too from a straight man!! 💀
Now see how nasty that thought is!?

And this is exactly what misogynistic men do whenever they receive pushback, instantly trying to make you look like the unreasonable and insane one for reacting

I have several of the same illnesses Halsey has.
I had to turn down tour offers and completely step back from touring because of my health. It took me years to be honest with myself about my limitations. I pushed through pain for a long time because I was terrified of looking weak, becoming a liability, or losing work. I feared that once I admitted what I was dealing with, people would stop hiring me.
The reality is that every time I've been honest about my health, I've worried people would think I'm looking for sympathy or attention. Unfortunately, that fear has been validated more than once. I've been called a liar. I've had former mentors / friends / coworkers spread rumors that I'm “exaggerating my health issues for attention” simply because I stopped pretending I was okay. I went from being healthy, touring, and eager to grow — to sick, bedridden, and struggling with basic daily tasks in what felt like the blink of an eye. It's soul crushing to be part of & love an industry while constantly wondering if you'll ever get back to the person you used to be.
Chronic illness becomes a lens. You experience every part of your life through it because there's no way to separate it from your reality. When your body is in survival mode, your life naturally revolves around that reality.
So when people criticize artists for writing about things like illness and call it "main character syndrome," I don't think they understand what they're asking. Halsey is an artist. Artists write about their experiences. If chronic illness fundamentally shapes your life, of course it's going to show up in your art. She’s not going to pretend the illness doesn’t affect her life as much as it does, or keep that part of her life hidden away like a burden, or create art that ignores one of the most significant things she’s experiencing.
And beyond that, this kind of honesty matters. The vulnerability it takes to speak openly about chronic illness and serious health issues has genuinely helped people feel less alone. It's helped people find answers, seek diagnoses, advocate for themselves, and realize they're not the only ones struggling. I know seeing other people speak openly about their experiences has helped me make sense of my own. Had Halsey never spoken publicly about her diagnoses, getting diagnosed myself would have been even more delayed than it already was. We as women already go through so much dismissal, gaslighting, harm, and negligence in the medical field.
It’s ironic to criticize artists like Halsey. That honesty doesn’t just tell their story but it helps others survive theirs.
Fuck you @theneedledrop you’re such a goddamn fucking loser and lazy fucking “critic”.
Main character syndrome is toxic or narcissistic level of self-importance. Experiencing a life-threatening illness naturally forces someone to confront their own mortality, making them the central figure of their own narrative and so album, not by inflated ego. Therefore it is.

you're allowed to say the artist of an album sounds like "she has main character syndrome" as a criticism of the album. that's not an unreasonable thing for a critic to say. it's harsh but not unreasonable.
Neurological brain chemicals getting released creating that feeling you get aware of after biology did its thing, hope this helps xxx
If you really can control your feelings, why don’t you choose to be attracted to women? Or men who aren’t sexist? Cheaters? Nice? Just do it then.
„wääh, the food you’re importing is harvested through underpaid workers in bad working conditions, all that just to justify economy benefits? You don’t care!! Disgusting. But lemme lick on my chocolate ice with beans straight from child labor real quick, I love me sum desert :3“

Also its interesting how you straight up said you're okay with the farmers, who work tirelessly every day under the filipino sun to produce the little yield of ube they can, getting nothing as long as the "economy benefits through the exporters"
And I’m getting tired of people only able to think in extremes. Nobody said they deserve endless grace. They just said that not all of em deserve to be called bad people. You can hold them accountable for changing and working on their problems without all of em calling them names

This intelligent young Black woman with Tourette’s Syndrome explains the incident at the BAFTAs and how Tourette’s affects the person living with the condition.
Her race shouldn’t need mentioning, but unfortunately too many people have reacted emotionally to this situation and need a Black woman to explain why someone with Tourette’s who is white is not vocalising profanities toward Black people simply because they’re racist.
We need more logic and critical thinking, as this woman brilliantly demonstrates, and fewer snap judgements driven solely by emotion.
