Found new inspiration and motivation in Japan. Today begins my journey to memorize the 2084 kanji requisite to clear JLPT N1, radically expand my Japanese vocabulary and add 0.5" to my arms.
Goals for the next 12mo:
-Memorize all kanji for JLPT N1
-Learn half (~5K words) the vocab requires for JLPT N1. STRETCH GOAL: 10k words
-Add 0.5" to arms. STRETCH GOAL: +1.0"
-Maintain waist. STRETCH GOAL: -0.5"

When the unduly inflated ego of a degree awarded by academia for persistence rather than competence leads you to pontificate on subjects of which you have no domain expertise and it is abundantly clear to everyone else that you are indeed an academic king with no clothes:
My respect for Elon Musk has mostly vanished, but I still thought that at least he is a good engineer (Teslas are great cars). But that last bit also got a blow after hearing him say that it is easier to "cool things down" in space. The opposite is true. A vacuum is the best possible isolator. In space you can only dissipate heat through radiation. It is extremely unlikely these data centers in space will ever happen (and certainly not in our lifetimes).

My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.
