A progressive city but still inhabited with monsters who throw hot water on innocent dogs and burn them beyond what can be imagined.
We rescued this dog yesterday from the heart of Colombo. He is a dog from the port that had just happened to wonder out on his usual happy round to meet his friends but he had to face immense cruelty by a monster who lives amongst us.
He is in a lot of pain but is now under pain control and treatment to soothe the burns has already begun.
Introducing Muna who now spends a lot of time at home. He started visiting about a year ago. He has become quite a star on my other social media pages with many requesting to see him regularly 🤗💕
It’s finally here!!!
You can now pick up your copy of the Embark 2027 calendar or have it delivered!! 🚘 🙌🏽

Polly has been lying on the road for many days until finally someone called Embark today for help. We went to her rescue immediately. She is emaciated, dehydrated and just a few days away from death as no one helped her.
Luckily no bones are broken all she needs is just some support to get strong again.
They are all beautiful but Kavantissa was magnificent.
Now he has become just another one gone to soon after being shot a few weeks ago. Another month, another day, another one. What will change to protect them?
RIP majestic Kavantissa ✨You were loved and admired by many.

Do you remember little pollie? She was paralyzed after being run over. After four weeks at Embark, she finally got on her four paws again and she was adopted by the lady who found her lying injured on the street !

Another soul back on their paws again. — ❤️
Poilee was so afraid in pain unable to walk after she got run over. She had a complete leg fracture. One month later she went back home to the people who care for her. In a month’s time we will pick her up to remove the pin.

The 80’s mostly AI trend has taken over the internet recently! Here is my version!! All original all real time 80’s with the unforgettable iconic hairstyles!
One of the main focuses of Embark and our rescues is getting the dogs to walk again. Many accident victims who will be able to walk don’t get the chance to ever walk again as they don’t get the correct care and treatment. Here are a few who have got on their paws again in the last month ❤️
The little babies who lost their mum two days ago. They are now being hand raised. It’s a 24 hour role with feeding goat milk every two hours which is required at this age. They are only about ten days old.
People seem to be driving in a daze. This poor mum was knocked down this morning and sadly she died less than an hour later leaving behind six of her gorgeous two week old puppies. Of course the driver didn’t stop and doesn’t know he killed a nursing mother and doesn’t care either. They have to be hand raised with goat milk every few 2-3 hours as they really need their mother at this stage.
Dear mum, we will do our best to raise your puppies and find them happy homes one day.
