Replying to @David_Kicinski
People put way too much value on what they "think".
Pursuing truth, acquiring knowledge, dropping priors, is the only way to truly figure out what is going on.
What you "think" will make no entry into human knowledge. Only what you discover is true or not.
Obviously to a non-racist this means precisely nothing. However it hits her like a ton of bricks.
A little glimpse into the post-freewill society.
Once you grant innocence from something that "wasn't your choice", punishment itself will have no place unless you presuppose its necessity.
🚨 BREAKING: The Lindsay Clancy m*rder trial jury was just told to GO BACK TO DELIBERATIONS after being instructed about proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt by the judge
HOLD THE LINE!
"Does not mean proof beyond all possible doubt."
"A charge is proved if after you compared and considered all the evidence, you have an abiding conviction to a moral certainty that the charge is true."
Clearly there is MAJOR argument going on behind closed doors.
If they're going this long, I hope they're close to CONVICTION on m*rder 1.
The amount of people I've seen outing themselves over this tweet is astonishing

What does the phrase "you are responsible for your actions" mean?
Do we let killers off the hook when their actions can be explained by a specific neural substructure? or a gene, or a chemical imbalance..
Obviously no. "You are responsible for your actions" means the root cause lies within the walls of your body. Knowing where doesn't let you off the hook, and a society that doesn't adopt this position will have little reason for any punitive justice at all.
Imagine having a castle but refusing to defend the ramparts

With regard to "Judeo Christian":
The 10 Commandments are Jewish.
The great stories of the Old Testament are Jewish.
The Jews developed the idea of subsidiarity as the alternative to tyranny and slavery.
The Jews established the cultural preconditions for the rise of universal literacy.
The fate of Israel at the hands of the Islamists is the fate of the West.
This rising tide of anti-semitism sickens me. Those of you engaging in it for your oh-so-moral reasons—you're despicable.
And remember, you proud "Christians" objecting in all your purity to the term:
Christ Himself was a Jew.
So much noise online regarding the term "judeo-Christian." Guys -- in academia it's simply the term that describes the combined corpus of Old and New Testaments. The Jewish heritage of the Hebrew scriptures combined with the New Testament. That's it. I know you want there to be some conspiracy but there isnt, that's the way we're using it. It has nothing to do with geo-politics or a one world order.
The good guys
Instead of raising property taxes for Ohioians we should be cutting entitlements.
Until these programs prove secure and legitimate.

You can now get your blood work at cost.
We launched a biomarkers testing platform.
I make $0 on it.
Blood testing needs to be more accessible. Instead, we wait until we get sick. And in the meantime, companies profit when you’re sick. It's messed up.

Not achievable for everyone, especially if you commute to work, but don't pretend this is an impossible lifestyle.
I feel the same about people who say they can't swim.
Like not even 3 seconds? You just sink like a rock?
Floating doesn't even require movement.
