The Liberals granted a visa to Canada.... ...to a Pakistani national listed on the UK's sex offender registry... ...for having an incestuous "penetrative" sexual relationship with his niece... ...who was a minor. (Receipts in reply). Kudos to @sarkonakj for her reporting.

Just last year, Canada’s Parliament voted 204 to 118 on a motion that explicitly stopped short of recognizing a Palestinian state, yet the Carney Liberals ignored that democratic decision and unilaterally did it anyway. It’s alarming to see this troubling Liberal pattern of circumventing the will of Parliament to play to international audiences — while the PM acts like a tsar when Parliament isn’t even in session.
.@MarkJCarney recognition of Palestine statehood came with Parliament in recess. MPs rejected an identical @NDP motion in 2024: "I am speaking for Canada now," said Carney.  blacklocks.ca/house-opposed-… #cdnpoli

Condoning violence against Charlie Kirk, or anyone you disagree with, is not befitting of the Minister of Families and Accessibility. @WabKinew needs to do the right thing and remove Nahanni Fontaine. If you agree, let the Premier know: [email protected]

My first question to Carney as an MSM reporter. Mr Carney, Pierre Poilievre has been endorsed by the majority of Canada's unions, former liberal government members, as well as the country's most successful business leaders. You've been endorsed by nobody. Why?

I'm going to break my own rule to never start a sentence with, "as a boomer". But as a boomer, I've done well. Yes, I've worked hard, mostly succeeded at what I wanted to do, had a good and satisfying career and was able to retire fairly comfortably. But I don't kid myself. I was also blessed, as most of us were, with very good luck to be born when I was. Stuff just worked out for most of us boomers, not because we were special, but because our timing was. And we had SFA to do with the timing. Dumb luck, is all. The younger generations coming up behind us are the future, not us, and they're every bit as smart as we were - check that, they're way smarter because they've had to deal with and adapt to an unprecedented pace of technological change that we just missed. Good timing again. But their timing sucks. They were saddled with the effects of COVID and had to live through what is, I believe, accurately described as the lost decade. They had nothing to do with the timing, little say in how the Trudeau Liberals mismanaged the economy, divided us against each other and ended up mortgaging their futures. It breaks my heart when I read stories about young people still living with their parents because they can't afford rent, let alone a downpayment on a house or a condo. It especially hurts when I hear about young people putting off, or deciding against, starting a family because the can't afford it. And, yes, I'm pissed off at Trudeau for all that. I'm also pissed off at Trump for disrupting our election with his tariff and 51st state bullshit. He's an old man trapped in a '70s loop and he's driving frightened fellow boomers into Carney's arms at the expense of our children and grandchildren. So as a boomer, I'm appealing to my generation to think hard before casting their vote. We did okay, our timing was great and take a bow if you must. But for God's sake accept the fact our time has come - it was great while it lasted - and is now fading, as it should. Don't succumb to the fear of the Orange Man. That's what the Liberals want you to do because they have nothing else on offer. Instead, choose hope for your kids over fear for yourselves. Vote for unity over division. Vote for change or, if you can't, at least get out of the way of it.

FAFO @judyatrinh Judy Trinh, a journalist working as a correspondent for CTV National News in Ottawa, is drowning in a cesspool of criticism and controversy, her career defined by accusations of bias, sloppy reporting, and outright unprofessional behavior that’s made her a target of public and professional disdain. Her coverage of the Gaza-Israel conflict has been ripped apart by groups like Honest Reporting Canada, who’ve called her out for what they describe as unnecessary and unfair demonization of Israel, exploiting stories of human suffering to prop up politically charged narratives that twist reality to fit her agenda. She’s been accused of peddling misleading half-truths and distortions, like claiming Israel launched a war on Gaza and triggered a famine there, both of which have been debunked by multiple sources, while she conveniently skips over Hamas’s role as an aggressor that uses civilians as human shields, a glaring omission that’s fueled distrust in her work. Her reporting is seen as falling far below the standards expected of a mainstream outlet like CTV, with a consistent pattern of inaccuracy that’s left her credibility in tatters. Take her May 29, 2024, report, where she blamed Israel for Gazans’ inability to leave, completely ignoring Egypt’s role in blocking exits since October 7, 2023, a fact backed by evidence of Egypt building a wall and threatening violence against anyone trying to cross, yet Trinh didn’t bother mentioning it, leaving viewers with a skewed, incomplete story. She also botched the Rafah crossing details, claiming it was controlled by Israel and Egypt when, until May 7, 2024, it was actually run by Egypt and Hamas, another sloppy error that fed her critics’ fire. Then there’s her report that Israeli forces shot 115 Gazans trying to get aid, a claim contradicted by evidence pointing to chaos and a stampede as the real cause, with Hamas tied to lootings and thefts she never acknowledged, piling on the accusations that she’s more about pushing anti-Israel rhetoric than reporting facts. Honest Reporting Canada has gone further, saying she legitimizes anti-Israel claims, draws false moral equivalences between Israel and Hamas, and effectively runs PR for terrorist groups, trafficking in denial and conspiracy.  Her public behavior only deepens the hole she’s dug. X posts from April 9, 2025, describe her yelling and interrupting during a press conference, with one user calling her unprofessional and embarrassing, pointing to a video of her shouting like she’d lost all sense of decorum. Another post from April 10, 2025, paints her as whining about press accommodations before launching into a loud, disruptive rant over a worn-out talking point, cementing her reputation as abrasive and out of control. These aren’t just one-off complaints; they match the recklessness in her reporting, amplifying the perception of a journalist who can’t keep it together, whether she’s on air or in front of a crowd. She’s also been caught misquoting Minister Marc Miller, saying Gazans’ inability to leave was “the largest hostage taking” without noting his clarification that it referred to Hamas, not Israel, a move that shows she’s willing to twist words to fit her narrative rather than clarify the truth. The broader scrutiny she’s under is relentless. Honest Reporting Canada has documented what they call a history of bias that strips away any trust in her ability to report fairly, pointing to her coverage of the Gaza conflict as a prime example of her one-sided approach. Social media reactions on X, paired with these professional critiques, reveal a journalist whose work and presence spark more anger than admiration, with users and watchdog groups alike piling on the condemnation. Her tendency to omit key details—like Egypt’s blockade or Hamas’s actions—while hyping Israel’s role has drawn outrage for its apparent dishonesty, and her loud, disruptive antics in public settings only make her an easier target.

Time to end the debate. We do not have the same challenges as America. Our rights have not changed since 1988. It’s not even a topic of discussion UNTIL the Liberals make it one to scare their followers into thinking that to keep their abortion rights, they HAVE to vote Liberal. Ridiculous!
