If the Democrats prevail, but squander the chance by serving rich donors instead of meaningfully and permanently improving the lives of everyone else, god help the fuckers –and us all.

I personally prefer use of sunlight and ocean water to make H2, and pyrolysis to convert organic waste to H2O and elemental carbon, which is totally inert and has numerous uses.

enhanced weathering mechanism Earth used to sequester 900 million tons of CO2 over the years. @Grok chemical equations supercritical water and olivine that Sequestration and H2 then combined with other co2 part of the process co2 Sequestration twice from waste rocks net co2 -

Climate campaigners condemn ‘maddening’ decision to approve Jackdaw gasfield. Critics say move will jeopardise climate targets, fail to cut cost of living and distract from need to decarbonise energy. [bless you, Fiona] theguardian.com/environment/…

It still produces CO2. The quantities produced would still be considerable, and sequestration would still be a headache. The fact that an equivalent amount would be produced from natural decomposition or incineration doesn't make it inocuous - although preferable to those.
Every person could easily have power and garbage in data out. Data centers to landfills. All the parts are made already so no disruptive to industry. Provides jobs. And clean energy and metals

It’s my dream. It could be about 20 pounds for a car system. No emissions. Made from community waste.

Depends on how you make it. Landfill leachate and biomass and olivine rock flour pumped 4000 psi into a 20,000 pound collider with solids handling block and bleed Everlasting Valve Co and BPR inverted y separation based on NASA toilet. Carbon negative thanks to olivine.
