Arsenal sacrificed 20 years of competing to fund the Emirates. Liverpool sold Torres, Sterling, Suarez & Coutinho in the space of 6 years to expand Anfield & rebuild the squad. Spurs sold Modric, Bale, Kane & built a new stadium so they can finally spend. ORGANIC growth to COMPLY with the RULES. Nobody made Newcastle blow their money on dogshit footballers.
We are witnessing tonight what PSR have done to Newcastle. They have had their entire spine ripped out to stop them competing. Any team wanting to compete and daring to dream shouldn't be supporting these rules. They're a disgrace to this sport. They only benefit certain clubs.

Sunderland spent 8 YEARS in the Championship. One season back in the Premier League and theyโ€™re already playing in Europe. Brighton are in Europe. Bournemouth are in Europe โ€” a club that was practically on its knees when Eddie Howe took over. Crystal Palace are in Europe AGAIN after beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final. And somehow weโ€™re still being told the Premier League is a โ€œclosed shopโ€? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Look at whatโ€™s happening: Brighton went 2-0 down to Man United in the Carabao Cup and came back to win 3-2. Three days later, they absolutely dismantled Arsenal. Brentford put three past Chelsea that same weekend. Hull came up from the Championship and have already beaten United and taken a point at Stamford Bridge. Theyโ€™re sitting 8th. Where exactly is this โ€œno chance for smaller clubsโ€ argument coming from? And I genuinely don't understand the โ€œred cartelโ€ argument either. Arsenal waited 22 years for another league title. Liverpool have won two league titles in roughly four decades. United haven't won the Premier League in 13 years. So what exactly is PSR supposedly protecting these clubs from? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Trophies? Because over the last decade, the clubs collecting the most silverware have been Manchester City and Chelsea โ€” the same clubs at the centre of major financial-rule controversies. Yet somehow we're supposed to believe the problem is everyone else. At some point, you have to take responsibility. โ€œWe had no choice.โ€ Yes, you did. Brighton had the same choice. So did Brentford. So did Bournemouth. They built gradually, developed players, recruited intelligently and stayed within the framework. And now they're competing at the top end of English football. Maybe the problem isn't that the door is closed. Maybe some clubs simply don't like the fact that everyone has to walk through the same door now. ๐Ÿ˜ญ PSR hasn't stopped competition. If anything, look at the clubs breaking through and tell me the competition is dead. The excuses need to stop. ๐Ÿ˜ค

The tributes from international Leaders should make Keir Starmer very proud. A remarkable PM. Undervalued by his own Country.

The Keir Starmer I know is decent. He is compassionate. He is kind. He is thoughtful. He is driven by a deep sense of public service, by duty, and by a belief that politics should be about improving peopleโ€™s lives rather than advancing personal ambition. labourlist.org/2026/06/the-kโ€ฆ

Working-class white people are burning down the homes of black working-class people, at the instigation of the world's only trillionaire. How has it come to this?

Things I know. Keir Starmer would never take a ยฃ5m bung. Keir Starmer would never have had Parties during Covid. Keir Starmer would never crash the economy. Keir Starmer would never join an illegal war. And all of that is good enough for me. Today. And every day.

Starting in 2027, smartphones sold in the European Union will be required to have user-replaceable batteries designed for greater durability and more charging cycles. Manufacturers must also provide spare parts and repair manuals for at least 10 years after a model is released. This is real pressure against planned obsolescence. It should mean phones that actually last longer, cheaper fixes, and a lot less electronic waste piling up. About time.

Trump insults Italy and Italian PM: Opposition parties rally to her support. Trump insults UK and British PM: Reform and Farage bend their knee and thank Trump. Tells you all you need to know about where their loyalties truly lie.
