A lot of planning and coordination has gone into ensuring Maya gets the best possible care.
Vantara has worked closely with the Kerala Forest Department, from her initial medical assessment to arranging a specially equipped airlift for her journey.
Veterinarians from Vantara, along with Kerala Forest Department officials and Maya’s familiar caregiver, will accompany her. Her caregiver will also stay with her throughout the treatment.
A Kerala Monitoring Committee will oversee her progress, and once her treatment is complete, Vantara will facilitate her return to Abhayaranyam.
The focus throughout has been on Maya’s comfort, care and well-being.

On one hand this is a number…a statistic of India’s rise in the Asian Para Games.
But, importantly, this meteoric rise suggests something else…the immense potential and talent of our athletes.
This year we had:
30 Gold Medals + 5 World Records + 9 Asian Records + 4 events where Indians swept the entire podium!
Two of my favourite data points:
Of the 61 athletes making their Asian Para Games debut, 36 came back home with medals.
There are 34 medal winners among 56 women athletes!
Our athletes have shown that no dream is too big and no challenge too great when there is determination.
Those days are long over when society frowned upon youngsters who wanted to pursue sports.
Now, if you have the talent, India will support you and cheer for you.

The most loved Indian epic receives a solid visual upgrade, with noticeable innovation in the action sequences and world-building. The makers clearly understood the challenge: they couldn’t over-improvise the dramatic portions, yet they also couldn’t skip them. As a result, the film feels predictable whenever it shifts into drama mode, especially in scenes that heavily emphasise virtues and family values.
That said, the film works largely because of its casting and performances.
@TheNameIsYash is outstanding, delivering a menacing screen presence that truly dominates. @niteshtiwari22 has written the role brilliantly, focusing on Ravana’s willpower, multi-faceted personality, and stubbornness. The scene in which Ravana’s ten voices speak stands out as a highlight.
#RanbirKapoor fits the role perfectly. His calm and composed demeanour works in the film’s favour, and he receives the right heroic elevation at the right moments. @Sai_Pallavi92 delivers a strong emotional performance as Sita while also showcasing her valour. @Rakulpreet is effective as Surpanakha as well.
The VFX shines particularly in the Jatayu sequence during the pre-climax. Rama’s encounter with the sea of rakshasas also gives him the strongest elevation in the entire film, and the war sequences have been impressively reimagined.
On the downside, the background score by A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer doesn’t fully work in a few places (though the songs are good).
Overall, this most beloved story deserves the upgrade. It successfully introduces the epic of Rama, Sita, and Ravana to a new generation. 👍
