Retired social worker Trudi Warner was arrested during an interview with Novara Media outside the supreme court on Wednesday.
Warner was speaking to @StevenJMethven about the hypocrisy of the police. Dozens of activists were arrested for holding signs that quoted Sarah Helm, a writer married to the prime minister’s national security advisor who was not charged for saying the same thing.

The Met police chose not to take action against her. But when retirees, health workers, the children of Holocaust survivors, a CBE and a professor held up signs quoting her outside the supreme court today, they were all promptly arrested on suspicion of supporting a proscribed terrorist organisation.

The UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, has singled out the BBC as one of the worst offenders in terms of propagating Israeli narratives, and not allowing Palestinian guests to talk about the suffering of their people.
Albanese told us that the BBC and UK government are wrong to claim that we have to wait for the ICJ ruling to determine whether Israel has committed genocide - and that Britain has a duty to prevent genocide.

I’ve known Dr. Rahmeh for a long time through her posts supporting us in Gaza. Her solidarity has never gone unnoticed.
