Exhilarating run, great conversation and what a beginning to #Dubai30x30… India + UAE, deepening the long association, via health, fitness and friendship! Thanks you HE Vishnu and HE Abdulla BinTouq for leading from the front
Promoting fitness, camaraderie and India-UAE friendship! 🇮🇳🇦🇪 Consul General @cgidubai Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, joined H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, for a 5 km run at Kite Beach, Jumeirah, organised by @cgidubai in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism as part of the #Dubai30x30 Fitness Challenge. More than 60 prominent Indian business leaders and entrepreneurs from the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC), UAE-India Business Council and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) participated, embracing the spirit of fitness and togetherness. The occasion was particularly significant as H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri joined Indian business leaders for a fitness run for the first time. The Consul General expressed his gratitude to the Minister for his gracious presence and encouraged the Indian diaspora to make physical activity an integral part of their daily routine, further strengthening the people-to-people ties between India and the UAE. #DubaiFitnessChallenge #Dubai30x30Challenge #IndiaUAE #CommunityRun #UAEIndiaPartnership

This is exactly the kind of robotics I want more of… Take a boring, repetitive chore everyone hates and quietly make it disappear… A robot hauling your trash bin to the curb may sound trivial, but I suspect this is how household robotics really becomes normal: one annoying task at a time
Why are we still dragging 100-pound trash bins through freezing rain, snow and 6 AM dark like it's the 19th century? Meet Curbie, an autonomous robot built by Revere Robotics that is finally killing off this miserable weekly chore. It automatically hauls your waste bin to the curb on collection day and brings it right back, completely unsupervised. The genius is that it works with what you already have. Instead of forcing you to buy expensive proprietary gear, it couples directly onto the existing steel axle of your current municipal bin. Packed with high-torque brushless motors and heavy-duty winter autonomy, it is specifically engineered to muscle heavy loads through deep snowdrifts and icy public sidewalks.

One of my go-to lists every year… Lenny’s gift guide always has a surprisingly high hit rate, with a lot of genuinely great picks across very different price points… Worth bookmarking before the holiday shopping panic begins
The holidays are fast approaching, so I’m back with my sixth (!!) annual gift guide. It's got over 100 gift ideas—all things I actually use, love, and recommend. This started out as a random post idea, but now you’d be surprised how many people ping me asking when the new list will be out. As always, the collection includes a mix of practical stuff with a lot of fun and delight, from high-end products to very affordable items. There are no affiliate links here, and I’m not benefiting from recommending any of these products. Pro tip: After reading it, point your favorite AI agent at the post and have it brainstorm gifts for your family, friends, and coworkers. Here's the guide: lennysnewsletter.com/p/lenny…

Layoffs are brutal, but companies still get to choose how they treat people on the way out… @Canva seems to have handled that part exceptionally well… Six months’ pay, continued healthcare, equity protection, career support, and even a $10,000 grant to start something new… This is genuinely one of the best severance packages I’ve seen
The @canva severance package should serve as a warning to everyone - jobs will not be returning, not anytime soon. You don't do these packages if recovery is expected 24 months from now. Get your house in order. Get out of debt. Live simpler. Adjust for a new reality.

xitter.gq/ClementDelangue/status… My favourite robot can move now?? 😄 Reachy Mini on a hoverboard, controlled from phone, and potentially autonomous with a harness… Can’t wait to try it

This is a pretty uncomfortable direction, if true… Bundling access to it with acceptance of AI feels like a very strange kind of pressure Where is "do no evil" ??

This is so cool… I think we need a lot more people building open, hackable robotics platforms like this, and doing it at scale… The more people who can build on the platform, the faster the whole ecosystem compounds
We are building highly capable open source humanoids and Dev kits for Researches, Developers and students. Laika can now use vision to navigate up stairs 🦾.

Love this because it completely breaks the mental picture we grew up with… Space has a wonderful way of making everyday intuition feel very small
We were taught that Earth orbits the Sun in a closed circle. In reality, Earth has never returned to the same point in space once in 4.5 billion years. Right now, the Sun is carrying Earth and every planet around the center of the Milky Way at 230 km/s (828,000 km/h), more than 18,000 kilometers every 80 seconds. Because the Solar System is tilted 60.2° to the galactic plane and bobs up and down through the galactic disc roughly every 30 million years, the planets trace open 3D corkscrew helices across deep space rather than flat loops. The last time the Sun stood where it stands today, one Galactic Year (230 million years) ago, the very first dinosaurs were only beginning to appear on Earth. Since forming 4.6 billion years ago, our Sun has completed only 20 laps.

Anybody born after Oct. 30, 2000, has never known a day without a human presence in space. Since the beginning of the first expedition 26 years ago on Nov 2, the International Space Station has been inhabited continuously. 📷 The @Space_Station in 2010

I’ve been saying this for some time now… AI will increase the number of people who can create more than almost any technology before it… So many ideas used to die because the person with the idea couldn’t code, animate, design, compose, raise money or assemble a team… As those barriers fall, imagination becomes much more executable
People say AI is killing creativity. I think the opposite might happen. For most of human history, having a great idea meant absolutely nothing unless you had the money, technical skills, connections, or resources to execute it. How many incredible inventions never existed because their creators couldn’t afford to build them? How many films were never made? How many games were never developed? AI is starting to remove the distance between imagination and execution. We’re entering a world where having an idea might actually be enough to bring it to life. And people are calling that the death of creativity. Insane.

This is the part of AI security we are still underestimating… While AI will accelerate the discovery of new attack methods…the existing ones will become dramatically more accessible in terms of time and money for a lot more people… And when the economics of anything changes this drastically…a lot more people will be interested in doing what didn’t make sense earlier
Attacks will accelerate from here on - We are there: Six months ago I said Mythos like capability will be widely available. It's happening. A critical vulnerability, a social engineering attack that looks innocuous, or daisy chaining publicly available vulnerabilities and conducting a sniper strike is all being witnessed in the wild. Incident responders have never been busier. Some key points: - attacks are not becoming more sophisticated, it's the same attacks, faster and by a lot more people. - attack path discovery which took trial and error and multiple attempts is now trivial, open source LLMs are here to help - you are as secure as your supply chain, insecure down or upstream players who have access to your infrastructure could be the next attack path, marketplaces and supply chain is an easier vector The increase in activity is a result of more people becoming better at hacking due to the ease of being able to attack. Had not contemplated that in my calculus. Please: 1. Test your infrastructure for accessible vulnerabilities and misconfigurations 2. Fix your code and demand your vendors do. 3. Old infra, or insecure infra at the perimeter needs to be updated first 4. New AI tools, especially coding need a security framework. Your developers will do more with code, new skills, and more automation. Don't forget the coding models have trained on human code. Stay safe this Halloween :)

What a wonderful time to be alive… if you are annoyed by a product..you can spend a few hours with AI and end up with your own version built exactly how you want... This completely changes the relationship we have with software … I’m sure we’ll witness a lot more of “Fine, I’ll make a version for myself”
Weekend hack: HackerTube. I was annoyed with YouTube's recommendations so I had Claude filter down 43M comments over 20 years of HN to 6,454 videos that keep being recommended. *Significantly* better viewing experience, ~2 hours with Opus 5.5: hackertube.org/ - Excellent recs without any logins (state is kept in local browser session) - Thumbnail is a representative frame from middle of the video instead of the super duper A/B test hyper-optimized user uploads - Underlying data from the comment analysis as one zip file, point your Claude at it and ask for your own version - HackerTube Longs ✊ A bit more on the process: I use Claude Code (desktop app for Mac), Opus 5.5 on Medium effort as my default. I only talk to Claude and have it do everything, the only "manual work" I helped with in tandem was in the browser (reminiscent of MenuGen): 1) I had to create some kind of API key from Google Cloud UI to query YouTube for video metadata, 2) I booted up a VPS box for serving and 3) I bought the domain name. Once the box was up I gave Claude the IP and told it update, secure, harden, deploy and optimize the code, and it did the whole thing. Many awesome projects that would have normally taken weeks/months even can now be few-shotted for breakfast. What else are we not thinking of.

If you have been living under a rock and not seeing the rate at which hardware as an industry is developing…look at this! Capital is spreading across the different parts of the physical world from construction to surgery… The era of intelligence leaving the screen and entering machines is here
Notable robotics capital moves for October 2026

This is the first I’ve felt that AI videos are creative pieces of work… Yes a computer is generating the frames, but to stand out this well in an ocean of mediocrity, one really has to get into the weeds… Couldn’t be more excited about where we are headed
the agency I work with asked me to create a video to introduce the new merch so I made this

The best thing about running is the inner monologue you have, about the things that matter to you, the things that bother you, the random thing that you forgot a month ago...and Nike understands this very well… Great advertising knows when the product can stay out of the way
Nike's 6-page ad in today's NYT's 24-page special section for the New York City Marathon 26 (that has a list of names of all participants). The first-person narrative makes it both intimate and engaging to read!

So great to be in the vibe of #Goa, amongst excited startup founders and having a heart to heart with some of my best people... what more could one ask for?? Loved the buzz and the hustle of @VibrantGoa and #TiEPanjim
Some conversations stay with you long after they end. At the Vibrant Goa Global Business Summit, Priya Singh sat down with P.K. Gulati for a fireside chat on “The World Is Your Oyster – Think Big.” What followed was more than a conversation about building businesses. It was about taking risks, backing yourself, learning along the way and having the courage to imagine something bigger. PK brought stories and lessons from an extraordinary entrepreneurial journey. For Priya, it was also a conversation with a friend, someone she respects and learns from, and a fellow Chalo board member. The best conversations don’t just give you answers. They leave you thinking differently. And perhaps that’s what thinking big is really about. #Chalo #ThinkBig #Entrepreneurship #Leadership #VibrantGoa
