Plannotator 0.22.0 is out. Code Review (is not dead yet): - Guided reviews give you a list of changes with semantic overviews, ordered by importance & where you need to spend your time reviewing. Inspired by @linear, this works for local and PR changes . You don't need the best models or high reasoning levels to use this! - Pi and Copilot are added as agent review providers. - A new default `git status` view is added. - A new `commits` view is added to easily navigate all commits and view their descriptions+changes.

Guided Reviews went viral a bunch last week. FYI, there is an open-source version and also the ability to send portable guided reviews as html files. github.com/backnotprop/plann…

we created /bro, but inbox is better for this: plannotator.ai/inbox/
i have so many cursor Projects running in parallel (16 right now) that my most used prompt has become "/bro catch me up on everything since my last message, and if there are any action items for me give me enough context (exec summary) to make a call"

btw, the video may not make it clear but this is NOT a way to wrap or orchestrate agents - you still use your harnesses, ADEs, whatever. This is more of an (optional) way for agents to send you the markdown/html/diffs to an organized place where you can reply to and send feedback using the original annotation UXs - in an async manner outside of threads

I'll post an obnoxious number of "@" because it's wild how cool the tech is getting. We're close to a spot where you can scale out a fleet of agents and have streaming PRs coming in with best-in-class review tools. The pieces of @Steve_Yegge's software factory and Gastown are slowly coming to life. Practically, it's guided @plannotator review (recommended by @dillon_mulroy) running on Pi Durable (from @earendilworks, @badlogicgames and @mattzcarey) hosted via Cloudflare Durable Objects.

Plannotator 0.28.0 is being released. Bi-directional async communication while you: annotate docs, html artifacts, code review. You can now Ask AI direct to your session. Supported in: Claude Code, Pi, OpenCode. Codex support will land when MCP Events are fully baked out. Previously this wasn't supported and others would have to hack CLI polling based solutions - but I've been fairly strict on the type of UX I'm willing to hack versus not. The better UX is now available, so we're releasing it. The previous version of AskAI is being phased out. Claude Code's plugin is now 100% a mod. Similar to Pi and OpenCode.
You can now mod Claude Code: - Change how it behaves - Customize the UI - Swap in your own features Write one with a few lines of TypeScript, or have Claude build it for you. Mods ship inside plugins, so you install them with /plugin in the CLI or desktop app. A few examples:

The latest Plannotator is out. A few updates while we gear up for something bigger (while also in the middle of a move across the country so bear with me): - Question UI: have your agent use the /plannotator skill, and its questions show up as interactive cards - Bitbucket Cloud support for Code Review and Guided Review, requested by several teams - Before/after previews for images in code review

I've not used plan mode in a long, long time. You don't need a mode to iterate in software design phases; just chat. Still... how we shape, align on, and review work has plenty of room for innovation. next week.
we’re thinking of killing plan mode and using the shift+tab hotkey to adjust effort levels I don’t think the models need plan mode anymore, but if you’re a plan mode diehard would love to get your feedback on why
