Underestimating quantum readiness will not be a problem for @monad
Today we are releasing Quantum Cadence, a post-quantum version of Cadence, our consensus protocol with multiple concurrent proposers. Quantum Cadence uses no quorum certificates, and its safety and liveness do not depend on signatures.
Most modern consensus protocols, Cadence included, rely heavily on signatures and quorum certificates, which a large-scale quantum computer could forge. Simply replacing today's signatures with post-quantum ones would make certificates too large for every validator to send around in a high-performance blockchain. Quantum Cadence instead draws on Forget-IT, a recent signature-free consensus protocol co-developed by researchers at Category Labs.
Quantum Cadence still keeps the overall architecture and core guarantees of Cadence, so our Cadence prototype was easy to carry over: an AI was able to adapt it to Quantum Cadence in a few hours, and an early prototype now runs on an internal test network.
We designed Quantum Cadence to be practical for a high-performance blockchain. In our simulations, its latency is similar to Cadence's, and it scales better with the number of proposers.

Target and other big retailers are also blocking agents.
It should piss off consumers that these conglomerates don't want to make things convenient for customers.
Take note...
notice..
> Delta is blocking AI agents from booking flights
> JPMorgan Chase and Charles Schwab block agents from accessing accounts
> Yelp requires paid data licensing for agents
> Amazon has blocked Grok bot and other shopping agents.
the internet is starting to block AI agents that were supposed to do everything for us

Sauna is the most underrated longevity hack
Sauna is my number one longevity intervention after exercise and diet.
A lot of what happens in the sauna overlaps with what happens during exercise, and sauna can even add to the benefits you’re already getting from exercise, including bigger gains in aerobic fitness and reductions in blood pressure.
Then there’s the long-term data - using the sauna 4 to 7 times weekly is associated with a 40% lower risk of all-cause mortality, a 50% lower risk of cardiovascular-related death, and up to a 66% lower risk of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
Combined evidence from the physiology, exercise trials, and long-term data is a big part of why I take deliberate heat exposure seriously (and why you should too).

Wow.
US Govt orders DeepSeek models removed from federal systems.
This likely won't be the last action related to usage of Chinese open models in the US.
Bullish for US based open models though...
Wish someone would have told this guy he could just do 2 mins of Dead Hangs every day and get most of the height gain.
Tried getting Muse to renegotiate my T-Mobile plan and it couldn’t even connect because they disabled the agent chat.
Hearing the same from others with different carriers and vendors.
Only a matter of time before these companies roll out their own enterprise agents to fight the consumer's retail versions.
Chicago could become ground zero for robotics in supply chains.
Why it fits: central U.S. location (majority of population in 2-day ground), the country’s biggest rail intermodal hub, massive suburban warehouse capacity and an existing logistics/manufacturing ecosystem ready to adopt automation.
@flexport's new Ocado robot FC just outside the city makes the case.

but is missing @monad!
