Right now, Democrats are on track for 56 Senate seats, although nothing is over until VoteHub calls it. Outstanding mail ballots in Alaska and provisional + Hinds County ballots in Mississippi put Democrats clearly on track to win both races. A substantial change in the composition of the remaining vote from what has been communicated by state and county governments at this point would be needed to make either race competitive.
