Today Director Rocchio joined state and local partners to celebrate the upcoming World Cup games this summer. ⚽
RIDOT is pleased to help provide traffic control, messaging, and signage on our roads to help all who will be traveling to the games. We’ve also been busy sweeping all of our roads and picking up litter to make sure our road system is clean and free of debris. ✅

🦺 Today at RIDOT, we’re wearing orange for National Work Zone Awareness Week. Every year moms and dads at work in construction zones are injured or killed.
Please slow down when you approach construction zones. ⚠️

Proud of our team at @PennDOTNews for answering the call and lending a hand to help @GovDanMcKee and his team at @RIDOTNews.
It's what we do here in Pennsylvania.
With the last storm cleaned up, PennDOT team members answered the call to help @RIDOTNews dig out after record-breaking snow hit RI.
PA will be reimbursed for the crews’ work over the next few days, which @PEMAHQ coordinated through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact.

🔴⚪️🔵 Beginning in 1969, RIDOT has helped stripe Hope Street in Bristol with the red, white, and blue center line colors to symbolize America’s continuous Fourth of July celebration.
There’s actually a federal exemption in national road design standards that specifically allows a red, white, and blue center line instead of a traditional yellow center line.
It’s the only road in the country to have this exemption.
