Recently, we've migrate quite a bit of Rails applications to use @Cloudflare R2 instead of AWS S3. I'm sure I'm not the only one doing such migration, so I've written this brief lesson on how to do it.

I've been playing around with Kamal and found the application secrets somewhat inconvenient.
Finally I've found an elegant solution to the problem — use @1Password CLI for deployments via Github Actions.
Works for manual and automated deployments! ✅

I'm once again open-sourcing stuff that I re-use over and over again. This time it's a UI component library - Essence.
Built with Phlex, so it'll work with any Ruby application (not only Rails)!
All feedback is very much appreciated 🙌

Released a new version for the oversee CMS gem today. It's shaping up quite nicely - JSON field support, better field components and overall nicer UX.
The best part?
✨ It just works. ✨

I've made quite a number of filtering systems with #rails over the years. So I wrote a little article on how I build filters these days. Works ✨very nicely✨ with marketplaces.
Let me know if you'd do it differently!

Edvardas from our team has shared a walkthrough on how to set up #rubyonrails with #vite, #tailwind, and #stimulus.
We've been using this setup in quite some projects now 🚀
