This might be the greatest online roast I've ever seen.
We've won more games in Philly in the last nine days than the Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies combined this month.

If Milwaukee and Cleveland meet in the World Series, it would be the first time in history that the World Series features two cities where the Edmund Fitzgerald once docked. In case you were wondering.

Dear humans around the world: That thunderclap you just heard came from Gander, Newfoundland. At 92 years old, Jean Chretien just gave the speech of his life. With the most memorable, important words of his life. Because he speaks for what most Canadians are feeling in our stomachs and hearts today, better than anyone else could. God bless him. God bless Canada. #911Remembrance

Jean Chrétien is, like many other without noticing it, making my case for being patient. In negotiations with intransigent parties, the strategically superior (and dominant) strategy is to signal to the other that you can wait it out. Everything that the Trump administration is doing is signaling that it cannot wait. If Canadian governments at all levels adopt measures that mitigate the immediate damages and push up productivity growth, then the signal is that Canadian governments can wait longer. Much longer. Remember that here we are losing sight of what I am trying to dub the Margaret-Thatcher-Sun-Tzu strategy. Thatcher said: I am extraordinaly patient provided I get what I want in the end. Sun Tzu, for his part, said: He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight. Patience is a weapon. Refusing to wield it is refusing the most powerful strategy.
“Lake Ontario is not suffering, it’s a lake.” Jean Chrétien truly one of the best to ever do it.

Poilievre just went on CBC and basically, said Carney should be more transparent. Well, Poilievre, when are you going to get your security clearance? Canadians of the Armed Forces have theirs, why are you so special?

Those of us in the news and commentary business often make the mistake of false equivalency: "getting the other side of the story" in a situation where the "other side" has no one on their side. Chris Alexander is a perfect example of that. I talked to a pollster yesterday, who reckons Mr. Barbaric Practices Snitch Line has less than five per cent support. But still some media treat him like he's a factor. It's bullshit. #topoli

Well done, Prime. Minister. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Canada clearly made a serious, good faith effort to get greater stability and market access, and remains ready to find a fair, balanced agreement. But we are not cravenly surrendering in the face of constant economic and political aggression. Responding to the new US tariffs with counter tariffs is exactly the right thing to do at this time. People in the Trump Administration keep expressing outrage that Canada is the only country in the world apart from China to retaliate against US tariffs. Damn right we are. Makes me proud to be Canadian. #ProudToBeCanadian #StrongAndFree

Proud of Carney. Proud of Premiers like Ford, Eby, Kinew. Proud of municipal leaders like Bradford. Takes guts to say no to a thug. Takes guts to fight back in a mugging. Those leaders have taken the right path. Going to be hard, but there was no other way. #cdnpoli #topoli

Tonight was different. Prime Minister Mark Carney cancelled the trade negotiations. Not Trump. Carney. He looked at the final terms, called them unfair and uneconomic, pulled our negotiators home, and matched the 50% tariffs dollar for dollar, This is what sovereignty looks like. This is a Prime Minister who refused to sign a bad deal just to claim a deal. For days, the radical right was busy proliferating 'Mark Carney caved.' Never count the chickens before they hatch. Thank you @MarkJCarney. Canada is not for sale. 🇨🇦

Rosie O'Donnell dedicates a song to Donald Trump. Oh, Donnie boy, it's Rosie Rosie calling from Hollywood, the Jimmy Kimmel Show Drop that Big Mac that we all know you're holding. Because my dear, I worry for you so. Poor Donnie boy, your polls, your polls are falling. Your reflecting pool is green as Mountain Dew. Your wig's a mess. Your ballroom is appalling. And with Iran, you bit off more than you can chew. Measles are back. Inflation is a swelling. You post all night. You're sleeping while you work. And what's with all this useless crap you're selling? Hey sweetie pie, you're driving us all berserk. But there's a way to end this drama. It's time to use that stable genius brain. Since we all know you'll never be Obama, why not resign and make this country great again? Yes, we all know you'll never be Obama. Come on, resign and make this country great again.
