🏈 Are the Packers really the better team?
@BettingOnX's EPA numbers suggest Green Bay is rolling. But Carolina has the stronger full-season statistical profile.
@SteveMakinen's power ratings and betting systems also disagree.

A special guest on campus! 🏈
Former NFL wide receiver Irving Fryar answered questions and shared insights about sports media with students in Dr. AJ Moore's Writing for the Media class and NBC Sports Philadelphia anchor Amy Fadool Kane's Sports Multimedia Reporting class.

Mary Hart must be part of the updated version of Weekend at Bernie’s.
A crazy comedy about two guys who want box seats at a Dodgers game but Mary Hart has to be with them to get the tickets. The night before the game Mary dies unexpectedly so the guys must improvise

I have never witnessed the Los Angeles Chargers win a Super Bowl. I have never witnessed the Los Angeles Chargers go 0-17. I know which one I’m more likely to see first in my lifetime….

It’s slightly gratifying to see another team who calls SoFi Stadium home have the opposing fans take over the stands
Jim Harbaugh being befuddled, lack of energy and nonsensical talk is concerning. It’s like sitting down for a family meal and grandpa is staring off into space, speaking gibberish, calling everyone by the wrong name so you say “mom what is wrong with grandpa?”

Obvious they have no local fan support and no reason to believe it will ever improve.
Now have a national reputation as joke franchise on par with NY Jets.
Energy in stands at Petco Park just shows what could have been if not for Spanos.
Spanos ain’t selling anytime soon
Not only has the franchise QB yet to win in playoffs, regressed immensely and now wonder if he is even a top 20 NFL QB.
Can’t imagine Spanos paying for an overhaul of coaches and front office.
Strength coach was supposed to fix injuries yet they have increased

After last year’s debacle with OL and an offseason to address it, is somehow worse than last year
Mike McDaniel’s presence will be a major distraction as long as he calls plays. There is no way they can turn it around with this OL/skill positions/schedule

The current status of Chargers has to have long term impact on the minuscule population who are actually fans.
Terrible owner finally pays for a legit coach. Yet to truly pay dividends.
Going 3-14 this season will once again force organization to take step back
