My interview with @MichaelZucker1 where we primarily discuss his books 'The Eisenhower Chronicles' and 'The Middle Generation' (about John Quincy Adams). Michael is so knowledgeable about American history, and you will learn a TON! I know I did.

And if you missed @pyritedreamer 's humor novella about the election from Gore's POV, I reviewed it here:

I woke up and my Grok Bot usage had gone back to what it probably it should have 62%. And I'm glad for that. But now I only have about 4 hours until my usage resets to use it all.
Ironic coming the day after Grok Bot arbitrarily jumped my weekly usage from 55% to 100% without any use. I used to love it until today.
Try Grok @Bot! You will love it.
We land a few dozen fixes, features and sometimes powers to Bot 7 days a week and we look at your feedback to make Bot as perfect as possible.
This is actually horrible comms. Why aren't we being told directly that our usage was getting cut in half while we're in the middle of our week? Why are we being gaslit by Grok and it was just a reporting glitch and didn't actually affect usage? Why do I have to find an obscure post on X that doesn't explain anything about what happened and only causes unease about relying on grokbots in the future?
So, I ended up sending a support request through email, and after giving the automated response some screen shots and details about when the spike happened I received this response:
"This looks like something our team is already tracking, and the overnight jump to 100% without matching activity is the behavior it covers. Included usage can't be restored partway through a cycle, but the jump itself is what the team needs to look at.
Just a heads up that we're seeing an unprecedented amount of volume of support requests right now. It may take 3-4 days for a human to get eyes on this ticket."
My usage is set to reset on Monday, so I likely won't get any restitution for my lost usage or productivity this weekend, but I still requested a human review my claim.
I'm very disappointed in @xai at the moment.
Hey @elonmusk Grok Bot just cheated a ton of people out of their usage, and @grok is claiming the problem (if there ever was a problem) had been fixed, but it hasn't. Please make this right.
I was at 55% Grok Bot usage, getting a few things done, trying to use it all this weekend, and all of the sudden to spiked up to 100% and it says I'm out, but the Bots are still working like they have usage to spare. Anyone else come across this bug?
ChatGPT, sprinkle a few typos into the manuscript you wrote.
Despite a dozen beta readers, two editors, and three proofreaders, Grok Bot still found typos and formatting errors in ALL of my published books.
But you know what? Apart from a handful that might confuse readers, I decided to leave them in since now writing too βperfectlyβ might get you accused of using AI.
Funny how we went from typos proving indie books are trash⦠to needing mistakes to prove we actually wrote them.
A hauntingly beautiful song echoed through the still night air, and the children obediently heeded its call, marching to the cemetery.
A one-sentence story for Halloween. π
"Life is a train ride, and every stop is a funeral. Until eventually you arrive at your own."
Halloween weekend reading: Franklin Pierce in Death of a Vice President. 1853. A gothic murder mystery.

People keep listing "tells" for AI writing. One is that AI makes continuity errors.
Excuse me, but I don't need a computer to write my own human-made continuity errors, thank you very much!
Guys, I think some old Chinese food in my fridge just attained sentience.
Should I assume it's hostile or raise it as my own child?
