In reality, any facility like this has a large back of house - waste, deliveries, water treatment/heating/pumps, truck access - and these renderings never portray that side of a theme park operation.

@fordnation’s “plan” for @OntarioPlace is brutal. It will result in a drastic loss of public space, lake & park access. It’s a magical place now; used by all. Instead, it will be for the occasional, wealthy, tourist. Run by foreign co’s. No benefit to locals. @ONPlace4All

1/2 In 2020 Ontario Place was included on the World Monuments Fund (WMF) Watch List along with the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Easter Island and Nôtre Dame in Paris. The Province of Ontario needs to honour this designation. The world is watching us.
