@MultiversX is back. ⚡️
And so is StakeNEST. 🪺
Huge respect to the entire dev team for working through an extremely difficult situation, and to every validator who helped bring the network back online.
We stood with the network through the downtime and we’re proud to stand behind MultiversX as it moves forward.
Time to keep building. 💪

I run validators. Mine were NOT remotely shut down. I turned them off myself after seeing the team’s announcement and understanding the severity of the incident.
If you’re claiming an “off switch” stopped the network, show the trigger message, signature and execution path used during the incident.
And seriously, stop FUDing this team. The engineering team is world-class. Yes, what happened was extremely unfortunate, but this is part of the price we pay in Web3 for building complex technology publicly, in production, where failures are visible to everyone.
They’ll learn from it, recover from it and come back stronger.
Someone check on @benjamincowen … is he okay? 😂
$BTC really chose violence today.

They are not rolling back valid transactions. All valid transactions are being checked and preserved; only the transactions related to the exploit are being rolled back.
That's a very significant distinction.
Mango was essentially:
inflate collateral → extract $110M of unrelated assets → walk away with the extracted assets.
The alleged Hatom pump looks like:
buy MEX → collateral rises → borrow EGLD → buy more MEX → redeposit → repeat.
So who is going to compensate the people who lost money?
You protected Hatom, but who protects the users?
Right now it looks like pure theft: funds were simply frozen, with no option for users to cash out or exit their positions.

@LataretuClaudiu why did you bail out @HatomProtocol
