Vivek should go all the way with “You sure you really want a child rape victim as governor? Sure sounds like a really bad case of baggage to me. You know how those ladies are that are like that…”
This is more or less what my IRL Christian friends told me when I told them I made that post and got mostly idiotic and unsatisfying replies. Pearls before swine.

I have no idea how you can even ask this on this website, you’re just gonna get nonsense answers, I get what you’re saying, I understand, what a mess the replies are

Such an odd post.
Do Christians realize they think about us because we play a foundational role in their theology, but they have no place in ours?
Just as a sidenote, part of what inspired me to ask this question is that I live in Texas and I keep seeing libtards walk around with this t-shirt promoting Talarico.
Question for Christians: Why exactly did Jesus flip over the tables of the money changers in the Temple courtyard?
The way the story is presented you'd think they were running a casino there, but they were actually providing a service that was valuable for conducting Temple rituals.
They enabled pilgrims to come from all over the world and exchange their foreign currency for local shekels. Pilgrims were then able to purchase unblemished animals locally for ritual sacrifices, rather than traveling all the way over with their own livestock which might get blemished along the way.
In the case of the particular time of year when Jesus flipped tables there was a census happening which required the deposit of a half shekel.
Why did Jesus feel the need to violently drive these people out? It's the only moment in the Gospels when he becomes wrathful, and it's what put him on the radar of the Roman authorities prior to his crucifixion. What was he so mad about?
I have achieved peak Jewishness.

Correct! The "right to exist" isn't real
We exist through the strength and grace of God and our incredibly brave and righteous soldiers
This cringe post is probably exactly what I sounded like a decade ago.
This sort of thing is why I’ve always wished James Hetfield would release a solo country record.
He committed an act of violence against a bunch of people who were helping pilgrims perform Temple rituals. Then when the Romans questioned him he told them he declared himself the king of their province. It doesn’t seem crazy to me that there were legal consequences afterwards.

My Irish ancestors were slaves bought and sold by Jewish people. And you expect me to care about antisemitism?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Irish people sent to the Americas were primarily indentured servants under temporary contracts, not chattel slaves. No historical evidence supports claims they were bought and sold by Jewish people; this relies on the debunked Irish slaves myth.

I don’t care I don’t care I don’t care. Your party has endorsed candidates with nazi tattoos, communists who celebrate 9/11, anti Zionists who actually want to cause the destruction of me and my family and my whole community.
I don’t care that Trump said Shylock
This disgusting, antisemitic language from Donald Trump must have no place in our country, especially from the President of the United States.
While unsurprising from a President who spews hatred on the daily, it must be universally condemned by those who want to root out antisemitism and bigotry in all its forms.
