In 1945, a Coast Guard plane took off from San Diego to rescue a Navy pilot downed at sea. The crew completed the rescue and returned to base, only to discover three unexpected passengers: a cat named Salty and her two kittens. The cats had stowed away without anyone noticing and spent the whole mission hiding aboard the plane.

Per @AndrewSolender, Democrats are pulling money out of CA-48 and NE-02 after internal polling shows both districts as Safe D. Democrats Marni von Wilpert (CA-48) and Denise Powell (NE-02) are heavily favored to flip these two GOP-held districts. The money will be diverted to more competitive races.
