One thing about young Latinas - they’re going to protect their families. I think people grossly underestimate how many young Latina adults turned into their parents’ hyper vigilant protectors over the last couple yrs & the daily struggle of driving parents everywhere for safety.

Hey @Meta 👋We are currently hosting a get-out-the-vote rally in Osceola County, home to a large Puerto Rican community, and our #LatinosConAngie @instagram page was suddenly taken down while we were actively posting content from the event.
This page is a critical communication tool for reaching Latino voters and mobilizing our community. With just seven days until Election Day, every minute matters.
We are calling on Meta to immediately restore the page and provide an explanation for its removal. Voters deserve access to critical election information, especially in these final days. @andymstone

Over the weekend, multiple videos showed ICE agents conducting immigration operations in Puerto Rico. In some instances, agents were seen carrying pepper spray canisters and telling members of the community to stay back while they carried out their operations.
Everyone born in Puerto Rico is a U.S. citizen. However, the island has historically been home to a sizable Dominican community. According to the Minority Rights Group, about 100,000 Dominicans live on the island, approximately 30,000 of whom are undocumented.
Dominicans contribute to Puerto Rico’s economy and workforce, working in sectors such as construction, healthcare, and childcare. Their contributions account for an estimated $1.7 billion of the island’s GDP, per the Latino Org Reporter.
The recent ICE operations targeting Dominicans in Puerto Rico have sparked outrage among many Puerto Ricans, who say Dominicans are already an integral part of the island’s development and future. Here’s the full story we aired yesterday on Telemundo.

EL-SAYED: I get that the President takes personal offense to my first name. He doesn't mind as much when it's the Saudis who are funding his son-in-law's private equity. Doesn't seem to mind as much when it's the Qataris who are giving them a $400 million private jet. He just seems to have trouble pronouncing it when it's my name.
I don't care how he pronounces my name. I don't even care that he remembers my whole name. Because he can just go on and call me senator after November.
