Un pays qui bombarde les villes ukrainiennes ne peut prétendre participer normalement aux compétitions sportives internationales comme si de rien n'était.
Cette position rappelle une réalité fondamentale : la Russie ne peut poursuivre sa guerre d'agression contre l'Ukraine tout en bénéficiant des privilèges et de la reconnaissance associés à une participation ordinaire à la communauté internationale. Il faut qu'elle soit tenue responsable de ses actions.
C'est pour cela que le sport ne doit pas devenir un instrument de normalisation du régime russe. Autoriser ses équipes à participer sous un drapeau neutre, sans véritable changement de comportement de Moscou, risque de vider les sanctions de leur portée symbolique.
Tenir la Russie responsable de ses actes implique de maintenir une pression constante, y compris dans les domaines sportifs et culturels. Les crimes commis en Ukraine ne peuvent être relégués au second plan au nom du divertissement ou de la compétition. L'impunité commence précisément lorsque le monde accepte de faire comme si rien ne s'était passé.

🇺🇸C'est une défaite historique pour Donald Trump.
Les midterms ont provoqué une véritable vague démocrate permettant à l'opposition de reprendre le contrôle de la Chambre des représentants et du Sénat.
Même des bastions républicains comme le Texas, le Kansas ou la Caroline du Sud ont basculé. Un désaveu majeur pour le président américain, sanctionné notamment pour sa politique économique et sa guerre contre l'Iran.
Cette défaite va profondément bouleverser la seconde moitié de son mandat. Jusqu'ici, Trump bénéficiait d'un Congrès largement acquis à sa cause, lui permettant de gouverner avec relativement peu de résistance parlementaire. Désormais, les démocrates pourront bloquer ses projets de loi, peser sur les décisions budgétaires et empêcher certaines nominations.
Mais cette nouvelle configuration pourrait aussi pousser Trump à radicaliser sa manière de gouverner. Privé de majorité au Congrès à partir de janvier 2027, il pourrait multiplier les décrets présidentiels et privilégier la politique étrangère, domaine dans lequel ses marges de manœuvre restent importantes.
Les démocrates disposeront néanmoins de moyens renforcés pour enquêter sur son administration et contrôler ses décisions, et c'est d'ailleurs cela qui devrait apporter un paquet de problèmes à Elon Musk. Le début de la fin pour Trump ? Cette défaite pourrait accélérer l'affaiblissement politique du président au sein même du Parti républicain.
À deux ans de la présidentielle de 2028, les ambitions de ses potentiels successeurs, notamment JD Vance, risquent de s'affirmer tandis que certains élus pourraient chercher à prendre leurs distances avec un président devenu électoralement encombrant.
Tout n'est pas perdu pour les États-Unis, vivement 2028 !

Search and rescue operations have been underway for 3 days now following a Russian strike on a school. Russians launched 9 guided aerial bombs, initially targeting residents gathered to receive humanitarian aid, and then striking the first responders and police officers who arrived at the scene.
People were there to receive bread!
The death toll is currently at 40 people, with over 30 still missing, and after three days, considering the explosions were so strong that recovered bodies are actually "fragments," that means that they are likely gone too.

Tinto Brass, the filmmaker behind Caligula, Salon Kitty and some of European cinema’s most provocative films, has passed away at 93.
For more than half a century, Brass built a career by refusing to make safe movies. His work explored power, relationships and taboo in ways that frequently attracted censorship and controversy.
While he eventually became synonymous with erotic cinema, his career was broader than that reputation suggests. Brass emerged from the experimental European film scene of the 1960s before developing the bold visual style that would make his later work instantly recognizable.
