ICs downB is their coolest move
I'm seeing discourse about Ice Climbers handoffs bc of that clip of me getting destroyed LOL. My thoughts are:
Fox: best character in the game
Jigglypuff: dumbest character in the game
Ice Climbers: most broken character in the game
I really disliked the way i played this past Saturday, especially vs Slug. Overall i got outplayed pretty hard and made glaring mistakes.
I think winning with any character in Melee is hard. At the end of the day you just gotta get good. And although handoffs are annoying, i think making more rules to nerf them is excessive and a bad idea.
That being said, let's not act like doing handoffs are crazy hard or cool lol. They require memorizing timings for an inescapable, stationary infinite (which is a 50/50 even in center stage). Lame as hell, real recognize real.

I tried to log into the analog account for the first time in years but all the two factor is set to rishi’s account and he’s slightly busy today
"Best of the Best" on Netflix is really fun, basically a modern spiritual successor to that old movie Pitch Perfect except it's for Bollywood dance. I definitely spotted some custom Kartik Research pieces for those students... I see you wardrobe department. I see you.
Ivan Ooze ass fit
Q: Trump called you "Lyin’ Ted."
Ted Cruz: Look, the man has an instinctual genius. What was so effective about it was my single strongest attribute was that the voters trusted me — that they trusted that I said what I believed and did what I said.
And so the jiu-jitsu of Trump was to take my greatest strength and make an attack that goes right at it.
And I think he does that instinctually in a very effective way.

People tend to go for grab after shine here, but I personally think pivot down smash is more optimal against most characters🦊

Using gpt-6 astra and ~$250 usd in tokens I have recompiled melee to run on iOS at 30 fps.
A mobile platform drastically increases ssbm’s accessibility, and slowing down the pace of the game will lower melees notoriously difficult barrier to entry.
This is the future of the game.
I've long been an advocate (and user) of notches, even as a non-spacie, because it helps guide muscle memory across the horribly inconsistent OEM analog outputs. Phobs can now calibrate pretty consistently on an octo-gate so notches are less necessary to make controller-switching less of an rng management chore.
That being said, they aren't inherently "bad" or cheating. Controller rules should be a function of how we define "valued skills" in competition. If the community at large decides that "hitting analog values accurately" is a highly valued skill, I'd definitely be okay banning boxes.
Continuous shine stall here woulda gone crazy
