Grief requires us to be okay with not having solutions. It wants us to be present with the pain and many ppl are uncomfortable with holding the messiness.
I'm not/this is not okay. So many discrepancies. Much mishandling. I'm appalled that my Mother's life was a consequence. I have no recourse for this pain. It readily transmutes into anger, but I gotta stay focused. I'm the big sis/new matriarch. I'll fall apart when she returns.
Things are opening up, moving slowly. But we are moving. We got the plot, funeral home and event space. Same plot/cemetery and funeral home we used over 20 years ago for my Grandma and sister, Joyce. Looking at dropping a salary, smh. $45k. I can't even fathom...

Unfortunately the adults are not ok, so the children are not ok. The adults don’t value kindness, so the children don’t value kindness. Every bully I’ve seen over the years has a mean ass parent. Schools/teachers have limited options when dealing with bullies.

When I worked in a pediatric hospital for inpatient behavioral health, I had many patients who were young girls and teens who had been sex trafficked by their own parents, who thought that since they birthed the girls they could determine how the girls were touched.
