The latest #Ipsos poll has a frightening message for #Labour and the #Conservatives. #ReformUK have now hit the 34% mark. That's exactly what Labour got last year. It gave them a landslide victory and if there was an election tomorrow, Reform would sweep home with a similarly huge majority. Labour would be reduced to just 140 seats while the Tories would practically disappear.
How typical of the retail desolation of small English towns and cities in 2023 ! For a few weeks there was a greengrocers in the shopping centre in #Lichfield - photo on the left. It will soon be replaced by what's in photo 2.
One pandemic pleasure ( yes there have been some! ) has been walking past an old lady's home in #Lichfield. Every day, as she shielded, she waved to passers-by, beaming with pleasure. We waved back. Today there's a sign in her window telling us she's moved. A wonderful person !
#Scotlandpubs #Sturgeon And we thought pubs with no beer were just someone's idea of a laugh !
