the amazing @amitmoryossef provides a workaround to the slideslive inability to change video speed issue. a bit hacky, but works!
(unpack the zip to some folder, open chrome extensions, choose dev mode, load unpacked, point to folder. the speed is controlled by editing the js)
The iframe is tricky, but you can just use a simple chrome extension:

You can then improve the JS however you see fit, although I agree @slideslive should support this
