Cardano Foundation joins the Swiss body writing standards for tokenized shares
@Cardano_CF has joined @cmta_ch, a Geneva-based association founded by Swiss finance, legal, and tech firms. The move follows CMTA’s ruling that Cardano’s new CIP-0113 token standard is equivalent to CMTAT, the group’s own template for issuing securities as tokens.
That means Swiss companies can issue shares on @Cardano ($ADA) that qualify for CMTA certification under Swiss law, without extra custom work. CIP-0113 went live on mainnet on October 7 and lets issuers build KYC checks, freezes, and transfer rules into the tokens. Veridian, a Cardano Foundation spin-out, is the first company to tokenize its shares with it.

Cardano just joined Switzerland's tokenization standards body.
CIP-113 gives issuers control over token transfers. CMTA membership brings Cardano closer to regulated capital markets.
But membership isn't certification, and adoption isn't guaranteed token demand.
Wall Street could get the infrastructure while $ADA holders get none of the upside.
That's the uncomfortable question nobody's answering.
