What a day/night. I don’t even know what to say, which is very rare for me. But I do want to make one thing clear. That win was not for me. It’s not about me. That win was for every fan. I could see the start of the season was hurting a lot of fans. I am proud of the way the boys came together in that game. They had to deal with some adversity with the Sens scoring first, having to kill a late penalty and didn’t buckle. Now it is onto the next one knowing the only way is to do it is together. Everyone with the same level of of fight and doing their job. Tonight feels good and the fans and players deserve it. Especially when a result like that win is earned through an honest effort with pride. @NHLFlyers

Attention those who aspire to work in sports: this is what to do
Hogdale streams himself watching + commentating Sox + Patriots games in his own authentic style. Clipping himself while he’s live, promoting his work. A one man show grinded daily, went viral, got seen by Portnoy, & landed a great job.
The grind + dedication + passion all matter. People take note of that.

As an IP nerd, I can confirm this is true!
Under US trademark law, if you stop using a mark in commerce for three straight years, it’s presumed abandoned and anyone can try to snatch it.
The Commanders are doing the absolute minimum commercial use required so the marks stay under their control instead of floating into the public domain.
Classic “use it or lose it” IP strategy.

The Phillies were down 0-4 with 2 outs and 1 on in the 9th...
- Realmuto hits a single
- Crawford walks
- Sosa hits a 3-run double
- De La Cruz hits a 1-run single
- Schwarber hits a walk-off HR
It was the Phillies first walk-off HR since 2023 🤯
9 wins in a row.

People spend a lot of time trying to prove they were right.
Growth is being more interested in finding out where you were wrong.
