Having raised our concerns and explored alternatives with SSEN and National Highways, we have been advised that essential work cannot be moved from the weekend of our fixture against Notts County.
Our focus now is on working together to minimise disruption.

Really @WHSmith should get jail time for this pricing - don't care if it's an airport #brokenbritain
You have to love @sainsburys and @UberEats cancelling an order after 2 hours of messing around.
Don’t bother sending discount codes if you can’t work out a 9 item order.
What is it with @LidlGB? Try to avoid them following historical crap service but after visiting today it seems to be normal. No staff and refused service on an open till because she wanted to cover only self service. A 1min transaction became 5mins after waiting for her approval.

On this day 41 years ago, 54 Bradford City supporters and two Lincoln City supporters went to a football match and never returned home.
We will never forget those who sadly lost their lives, and as always, our thoughts are with their families and the hundreds still affected by the disaster to this day.
Always in our hearts. 🎗️

All I can see is all politicians saying “don’t vote for x”.
Why not say why to vote for them instead 🤷♂️
Local party elections should be all independents and no party allegiances.

The Prime Minister is a national distraction.
Millions of people are struggling to pay the bills, but Boris Johnson and his government are spending the whole time mopping up their own rule-breaking, sleaze and deceit.
He’s got to go.

What is the point of @GWRHelp having a timetable if they leave 2 minutes early?
Reading to Oxford. 0749 left the 0747. Those running (due to a delay caused by your other train) and arriving on the platform at 0758 had no chance.
If true then Ofcom is screwed.
🇬🇧 Labour peer Baroness Margaret Hodge is the favourite to become the new head of Ofcom.
The veteran Labour peer, who previously called for a ban on online anonymity, is understood to be one of three candidates shortlisted to replace Lord Grade as the media regulator’s chairman.
The 81-year-old accused the Government of deliberately delaying the Online Safety Act to avoid difficult conversations with social media companies, saying she was prepared to campaign to make sure the law was tough enough.
Hodge was appointed Minister for Children in 2003 but immediately came under fire for the systemic sexual abuse of children that occurred in care homes during her tenure as Leader of Islington Council.
After labeling one victim, Demetrious Panton, as "extremely disturbed" in a letter to the BBC, she was forced to issue a High Court apology and pay a £30,000 settlement.

So. @LNER 50% off sale actually means a 50% increase and no discounts to be found.
Journey normally is £30 each way is now £45 each way.
All for 90 mins on their train. Not one train with the advertised discount has been found.
It’s a joke.
