Absolutely. And I’m a fan of Tae. I just have to keep it real. Blake Fisher was benched & he puts in more effort than half the line when he’s the 6OL. Tae looks like he’s going through the motions weekly. Doesn’t strain whether it’s pass or run, slow feet which causes him to hold or immediately get beat, most penalized & given up the most sacks on the Texans OL.

Do You want Ersery benched?…

If Braden isn’t starting next game, I cannot take this team seriously. Move Trent to LT.
Every Braden Smith snap vs. the Giants. 25 total snaps, primarily as an extra offensive lineman in jumbo packages. PFF Grades: • Overall: 69.6 • Run Blocking: 71.2 • Pass Blocking: 74.2 20 run-blocking snaps 5 pass-blocking snaps 0 pressures allowed 1 penalty (debatable on a snatch trap) Full film below. The Texans offense ran 54 plays from scrimmage on Sunday. They threw the ball on 26 of 32 plays when they had 5 lineman on the field and ran the ball 19 out of 22 times with 6 lineman on the field. There was 12 snaps where the Texans were in heavy 12 personnel (2 TEs + extra OL) with Hutchinson as the lone WR and they ran the ball on 11 of those.

Xavier Hutchinson isn’t taking the top off the defense. Opposing defenses load the box with him as the loan WR in 13 personnel.

Texans don't *have* to win out to make the playoffs but shy off really 11 wins they don't control their own destiny and they really need to go 8-2 the rest of the way (per The Athletic simulator)

I wish #Texans would hire Ballard to scout OL
I once interviewed Chris Ballard for a story I was writing on Nick Caserio — it was on the record — and I’m paraphrasing, but he basically said he’d never trade a player to the Texans.

Revealing comment from #Steelers LB Elandon Roberts. Noticed on film Saints QB Tyler Shough wasn't making checks himself - HC Kellen Moore relayed them in. So Steelers defense stayed static until < 15 seconds when playcallers can't talk to QB. Two examples of it below. First one, Patrick Queen runs into A-gap w/ 14 seconds and Saints run right into him. The Giants used “22” personnel (2 RBs, 2 TE’s) on 22 snaps against the Texans. They picked up 188 yards (8.95 yards per play) and 3 touchdowns on those plays. Matt Nagy/Greg Roman also did a great job of setting up plays out of that personnel grouping. The big play to Thomas Fidone for 29 yards was play-action out of 22 personnel. They also used their tush push formation and the use of multiple sneaks earlier in the game to set up Skattebo for a 19 yard gain out of that look. Then they pummeled the Texans down the stretch with that big personnel grouping and ran the ball all over them (8 carries, 99 yards, 2 TD’s in the 4th quarter and overtime):

Ed Ingram got credited half a tackle on this play. Disjointed offense. Ingram gets occupied at the LOS, which messes up the timing, which leads to Noel and Ingram making contact and derailing the play.
