#villagecricket is often used as a term to belittle. We stand proud as a village cricket team. Belated presentation evening tonight with juniors and seniors. Thanks to everyone involved, a superb event 🏏

Don't miss the Silktone Summer Fair on Saturday 31 August on Silkstone Playing Field.
Great game against @CawthorneCC today and great to see them in the @syscl_uk , we are looking forward to our return visit at their beautiful ground and to sampling their famous teas!
Thanks everyone for a great presentation evening. Players and volunteers = class act 👏👏👏Some bad kareoke though 😂🤣😂🤣
Thanks to everyone involved this season - players, volunteers and supporters. Time for a rest and to look forward to our next season. Our seconds being led off the field by 7 18yo and under, including our two 16yo women opening bowlers, today was class 👏🏏 @KBrunt26
Well done to our second XI who have secured their place in Div 6 of the @syscl_uk for next year. On average we have fielded 5 players who are 16 or under, a promising future. It's been a really enjoyable season, well done everyone 🏏

proud to be involved with all stars at my club @silkstonecc. Nearly 30 kids every Friday having loads of fun, making friends and learning without knowing the basics of our great game. Had over 30 last year, nearly 60 kids who'd not have been involved without all stars. Fab scheme

Cheers folks, a really good game played in great spirit, n all done for the footy. Silkstone have got some great young players!
Not our day today against a good Hampole & Skelbrooke team, top set of players. Proud to still have 4 U16 players involved. Even prouder to have two U16 women playing. E Rossi and R Coe. Good luck Becs with Yorkshire 2s tomorrow @KBrunt26
Thanks to @wombwell_maincc for a great game today. Not a bad advert for Div 6 with over 400 runs scored between the two second teams. One of the best teams we've played. Played hard, but all good 👏
To say we our proud of our juniors playing in senior cricket is an understatement. Opening bowler is an U16 woman and our no.6 today knocked off the 215 target with a 21no, she was also an U16 woman. #thosegirlsdid #proud
Fantastic night at the club. Players, parents, volunteers, pets, beers and Ninos pizza #cricket
